where do you see your avg age stats? because i just gave the actual avg. age by TEAM'S. Jets are not youngest!

That's not current.  Oilers avg.  Is 25.8 as previously mentioned with few youngins brought up slepyshev at 22, Davidson 25, khaira 22, brossoit 23. Oilers would be younger  if Pitlick and nurse did not get hurt.  Altho Nurse should be back before playoffs and he's only 21. 


There is a much better current site then one u posted.  Unless it's just slow on updates... It's also been reported on TSN only week ago CBJackets are THY youngest in NHL.

Jets fans are slowly learning what it's like to miss playoffs almost on yearly basis themselves. Not fun. 

But a change at top had righted the ship right thru to the roster.  It's finally fun again to be oil Country. Rogers Place is really electric as of late. It's been quite until NYEve game all of a sudden atmosphere has picked up. Oil fans have always been one of loudest playoff crowds Rival wpg or old chi stadium. It'll be interesting to see how Rogers Place is come playoffs,  sounding good right now!!

Coyotes send F Duclair to AHL:

In an attempt to spark struggling forward Anthony Duclair, the Arizona Coyotes have assigned the 21-year-old to the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners.

Duclair scored 20 goals and added 24 assists in the 81 games last season, his first with the Coyotes.

However, the Pointe-Claire, QC. native has struggled in 41 games this season, scoring just three goals and a total of nine points. His shooting percentage has dropped from 19 per cent to five per cent.

F MacArthur ruled out for balance of regular season:

Clarke MacArthur will not play again this season, the Ottawa Senators announced Friday.

MacArthur, 31, has not played this season due to post-concussion syndrome.

MacArthur suffered a fourth concussion in 18 months during training camp this season. He last played a game on Oct. 14, 2015, when he suffered a concussion against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Really unfortunate news. His career could very well be over.

Ugh it's terrible.  I had one it lasted 6 Months and I have side effects for ever now. I hate hearing that word for anyone now.  It can be very dark times. Prayers to him

Oilers have improved to 17-5-6 🆚 west this season. 😎  second most goals in west behind Minnie!

But SJSharks and Ducks still class of Pacific  for us. They're going to get  1 and 2 spots but we are definitely on our way to challenging them. It's great battle!!

Rogers Place soon to be loudest unique atmosphere in the NHL. With the Resurrection of the team, Oilers fan base has now set a chant page up and are bringing European type chants to the game. This fan group has been all over radio and tv for the new atmosphere they are slowly creating in time for the playoffs! Nickname EO7 Edmonton Oilers 7 (meaning 7th man on ice) They will bring player chants, team chants etc... After being lousy for years and crowd not being able to cheer, new generation and era has begun! They had thousands chanting in cgy at saddledome after another sweep of a west team.
