Senators acquire F Wingels from Sharks:

The Ottawa Senators have acquired forward Tommy Wingels from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for Buddy Robinson, Zack Stortini, and a seventh-round pick in 2017.

As part of the trade, the Sharks will retain 30 percent of Wingels' 2016-17 salary.

Tanev is a top tier defensive defenseman. Someone compiled some stats with Tanev in and out of the lineup this year (At the time, I believe it was an even 24/24 game split) and the numbers were drastically different. Obviously not the only factor but he has a huge impact.

Wow.  Yeah that team proves even  u don't got all skill  they have a hard system defensively.  They're playing so good in their own end.   And Vancouver always plays oilers tough.  Greeeeat.  Hah.  Markstrom tho 👍

I've already said it in this very thread but Burns is an absolute beauty on and off the ice. I'm so happy we signed him to max years. I don't care whatsoever if he becomes an anchor in the last few years of that deal, it's absolutely worth it to have him signed here for the next 3-5. He'll easily be my favourite NHLer once Jumbo and Patty retire.
