Anyone remember who Little had on his line for the majority of the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons?

Would 15-16 be the famous Ladd Little, Wheeler?

And I don't think that makes a big difference...Little was paired with Laine and Ehlers at times this season and still couldn't produce  :o

15-16: Wheeler and Ladd

16-17: Ehlers and Laine

Also, this is probably irrelevant, but anyone have stats on his average TOI for the past 3 seasons?

Just answered my own question.

He averaged 19:55 in 2016, 17:33 last year and 17:02 this year.

Yes.... 19:55 in 14-15.

That is quite a significant drop in the past 3 seasons.

The 19:55 was 4 years ago in 14-15.  In 15-16 it was 19:33.

Yep, about 2 minutes less.  My concern is that even looking at the 2 minutes, giving a 6 year contract to a guy who will be 31 years old when the contract kicks in is a bad decision.  But if Chevy plans on trading him half way through, then it's not as bad.

Also, the NMC in the first 2 years of Little's contract means he must be protected in an upcoming Seattle expansion draft.

There is always the opportunity for either a buyout or getting a player to waive a NMC...

We are going to lose a very good player to Seattle, we're not going to get them to take a pending UFA like we did Vegas...  might be a good reason to resign Trouba, to leave him exposed.  No way they could turn down that opportunity...  although we might have an issue with losing Comrie instead...

Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Believe Mason (though just 1 yr left) & Perrault need to be traded.    Little may be our anchor to bare & will cause much angst.

Perrault will stay. Hes not a guy that wants payed more then hes worth.

We are into the Cap 55mil now for next year. The caps going to 80mill.

Conner and Laine dont need to be signed this year.

I bet guys like Wheeler and Stash sign deals to keep Cups close.

I'm on the fence with Perreault but why Mason? And who would back up Hellebuyck?
