Chris Streveler has been activated for tonight's NFL game between the Jets and Jaguars.

Streveler has to play only five more NFL regular season games to secure his league pension.

Hope the kid makes his league pension.

I hope he makes it too, but the pension isn?t something he can live off of, $19,800 USD per year, which I thought was gross considering the billions this league generates annually.

Yep, he did a lot better than Wilson, who should (rightfully) be benched after that performance.

He looked like well?.Chris Streveler. He was fairly effective, but it seemed the bounces didn?t go his way. In the situation he was, he needed them to. I will say the Jags did look a little confused on how to defend him and the Jets coaches have to take note of that. I think this will lead to some greater opportunity for him in some form or other.

Great news that he is now vested in the NFL pension. $20K USD ( almost ) for the rest of his life is not a bad deal. I hope he gets to play this weekend.

The Jets aren't a very good team and his receivers didn't help him out on a few throws.....he did manage to move the ball and made a few first downs with his legs.    He didn't look out of place and provided a spark for an anemic offense.

They didn't field him tonight (that I saw, certainly didn't come in as end-of-game relief).  What a sad-sack team.  They should have put Strevie in to start the 4th like last game.  Dude is so much fun to watch.

Insanely bewildering. It was crystal clear by the beginning of the 4th that White was not going to be successful in a game they needed to win. I'd like to hear what the coach's explanation is.

I daresay they would be scarce as hens teeth.....he relishes contact though and he is built like a tight end.    He takes defenders head on and I remember MOS saying he ran "angry"!    He is an enigma of sorts however he is trying to fit in anyway he can.   His down side is that he still doesn't throw the ball with authority and his throwing motion looks more like he's flicking the ball.    Nevertheless, he's still exciting to watch and i do hope he thrives down there....

I don't!  I want him to thrive up here!!  If he's got that much-ballyhooed NFL pension set, then stop being an NFL #4 and come back up and play as a CFL #2 or #1!!

Would we have won the GC had we had a Strevie package to mix things up a bit?  Would Strevie have (under)thrown into double-coverage like Prukop did?  Remember, Strevie is the only WPG QB to throw a TD in the '19 GC...
