You have to wonder how nervous Harris is in Sask. He's somewhat fragile in his old age. Their best hope is to keep his jersey clean. They are still a playoff team though. Pretty excited to see how this season unfolds.

It's kinda the same with Zach.  About the same age, and, though in different ways, they are both possibly one hit away from retirement.

That's why I don't wish bad things on T.Harris, because we're all in the same boat.

On the bright side, both OLs kept both QBs pretty clean(ish) in '24.

Much like Yoshi probably trying to cash in on his last few years and it seems Sask. still likes to collect players well past their due date.  Won't be surprised if they sign Chungh as his replacement.

I forgot Chungh already.  Ya, so he's out there.  Rice.  Etc.  There are few choices for teams needing an injury replacement.

I think Chungh is holding out for big money (matching his prev contract) even though he's probably worth a chunk less now that he's on the down slope.  Some team will get desperate enough to pay it.

Ya, Gagnon is mentioned many times in every TSN broadcast he's playing.  However, if you only watch Bomber games, you may have missed him.

Can confirm the pronunciation.  I am also a Canadian of French descent, and my name is very similar, and pronouced the same way.

The Montreal team changed its code of conduct for the next campaign in April, starting with the preparatory game against Ottawa's Red and Black.

Previously, the code of conduct on the team's website simply indicated that "the use of instruments producing too many decibels and whose volume disturbs viewers is prohibited".

The wording has been changed in recent weeks and it can now be read that "the use of instruments producing too many decibels and whose volume disturbs the spectators is prohibited. Compressed air trumpets, megaphones and other mechanical noise instruments are prohibited".

Yeah, I dunno man, the bad memories from 2024 just came flooding in ... Streveler getting his knee completely mangled by Miles Brown, Zach getting the end of his finger torn off in the Grey Cup game, a perplexed Chad Kelly trying to put his broken leg back together, Fajardo, Harris, Brown, etc.

I think the French will still try to get away with it.  "Compressed air" has always been banned, and that's not what the MTL horns are.  Jeez, we go over this every season.  They are not the Staples bottles of compressed air attached to a horn: they are a hand pump making compressed air attached to a horn.

They need to specify air horns whether using pre-compressed air or hand-pumped air!!

As for "other mechanical": wouldn't that exclude cowbells?  Everyone except MTLers agree to take away their air horns, but jeez many fans don't want to lose their cowbells!  I say let the French have their cowbells, and they can be just like the rest of the league.  Cowbells don't impede announcers.

FYI, the PS games don't seem to be unviewable after 2 days.  I'm still finishing up the @BC game right now.  The key is get the final watch-page URL saved somewhere because the links to it disappear from the PS page/list after about 30 hours.

This should be very useful for the 3 PS games we have on Sat, incl the one many of us will be at and may want to rewatch later.  Might be hard to get 3 whole games watched in one night...

The trumpets *are* compressed air, they just don't work off bottles compressed air, but the pumps that power them actually compress air as part of their action.  That's why they are so loud.  So they are banned.  Vuvuselas use lung power only, no mechanical assistance compressing air.

By by horns.  Poor guys that spent money on those...
