He was so under utilized here, he'll prove us wrong for letting him go and have a big year!!

I'm pulling for him too but I don't think he was underutilized. He was behind Harris and then Oliveria and he should have been.

He was good here when he got to play but you don't play much football if you're not on the top of the chart in pro football.

When you have guys who are perpetual MOP's and MOC's, hard to get on the field.

If anything, we overutilized him, or at least got more than we paid for.  We got a lot of mileage on teams, and he was ready to go in if needed.  With no one ahead of him, and on a team needing ratio, he will have a chance to shine.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Disagree, behind two beasts, we used him as much as possible

Watching the TOR@HAM game today.  Rutledge spotted playing on field.  Yup, same Rutledge!  Apparently has been in USFL all this time.

He was always quite good here (passport not as friendly as Kramdi though).  I wonder if he cracks the roster in TOR.  I also wonder who the incumbent is, and any competition.

He should do well there.  Let's hope he's not making big plays against us in the GC this year.  Or at the very least, that Kramdi can do better!

Toronto needs bodies, he'd be a good placeholder until one of their prospects can overtake him at the very least.

Haha, PS1 HAM game (3Q7:36) they stole our WPG work-back-to-post (dig route?) 2PAT (mini-TD) play to Kenny!  That's the play we used to great success many times last year, and for a TD or 2 in the '24 post-season to Kenny.

Hilarious, first JA27 takes it in for the short run TD, and then topped with a 2 pointer to Kenny with a Buck special.  Am I watching the Bombers?  This will be a confusing year when HAM is playing.

I'm still pretty adamant that Hamilton will remain a bottom-feeder.

I dunno.  Obviously it all hinges on BLM.  If he can get 2024 numbers without losing all the time, they could be big.  I really don't want to face HAM in the GC though because I still feel a bit sorry for that fan base.  Clearly I will want to kick their butts in that scenario, but I'll feel a bit guilty about it!

(Not BLM, I have zero love for him, but for the fans)

If BLM puts up big numbers, it's because the team is terrible again.

Wonder if Dave Dickensen was a bit offended by some of the negative things Mark Killam said about his time with the Stampeders?
(Got games mixed up)

I think the Elks qb situation is strange, a Grey Cup winner, second string to a guy has done nothing.

And  some people are still trying to stir the controversy pot about the team name.

Two thrashings were just given to the Elks by the Stampeders.

Well the controversy about the name is a classic distraction tactic. Look at this awful thing that is being done to us instead of the awful way we are managing things.

There will be some Winnipeg-Hamilton plane/bus tickets sold this week...  Goveia is watching the Bomber replays right now.

Hmmmm. I just read the Stamps may have an all new defence from 2024. I think there was only 1 player from 2024 that might retain his starting spot on the roster but even that was iffy.

They also mentioned they might be on the hunt for LB's. Maybe that's a way to deal with the excess of LB's we have if we don't find a way to keep and use them.

Also read that D. Houston is still a free agent. That's a surprise and perhaps his salary ask is too high for any takers?

Note: I'm not opposed to retaining all our LB's. I'm just not sure how we do it within the ratio and size of the roster. Yes we could 1 game IR somebody, but that's not a great way to manage these sorts of problems.
One game at a time.
