Ya, we're hoping for that.  However, Jake's entire M.O. (since he's not very good) is "game manage" and just not try to throw picks.  I'm sure that's the Dickenson The Greater drills into him every week.  The whole Maier pep-talk must be "throw no picks! throw no picks!"

CGY has decided to play a non-CGY non-Maier game.  Completely throwing OTT out of sorts.  No one expects CGY to come out and throw deep bombs all night.  Good strategy as long as Maier can keep it up.

To elaborate: Cody always does this little head & butt bob / dance thing in his cadence.  It's pretty comical as I've never seen any QB do the butt moves.  (No, I'm not watching his butt!!!)

I started noticing it late in '19-'21 when we were battling them for 1st in W all the time because I thought I noticed he had a "tell" when he was going to pass vs hand off.  I thought he only butt-danced when passing.  Turned out I was wrong, he does it on most snaps.
