At 35, if AB4 has suffered an Achilles injury is his career over?

Unfortunately that could be the outcome. His birthday was in October so by TC next year he'll be well on his way to turning 36.

Who says. It?s an Achilles?   His early treatment in the field it looked like a calf. I had one once, and I could not barely walk. Bighill walked and then it looked like it cramped again.

I thought I did an achilles after giving up for a post curl. Yup made the catch, was in discomfort. Lined up for one more play, but could hardly step. Hobbled off to the sideline, and went directly to the hospital. Wasn?t an achilles, but a pulled calf.  Spent the remainder of the evening icing.  Next day, miraculously, it loosened up, and I could play.  I am hoping Bighill, had the same injury.

In other. Cases, like Cincinnati?s. qB, Joe Burrows, it seemed to take him. A few weeks.

Our other linebackers were faster than Bighill, and were younger, fresher, so I was pleasantly surprised at their effectiveness

Bombers are superior in every imagineable category, so I can?t see us losing, unless we self destruct somewhere along the way.

Rose has nit been very good this year.  At best adequate.  Sitting him would be best.

There was a report that it was an achilles. I initially thought it was a calf muscle as well. We'll find out in the next few days but expecting him to play is an optimistic view at the moment.

Rose didn't play yesterday.

Ditto - Cole really impressed me and Gauthier got a sack.  Not bad at all.

If, it is an Achilles he will probably be out all of next season. Which means we will have to go out and find a MLB in FA.

Gauthier took a boneheaded roughing the passer penalty?-a guy with his limits skill set and our depth and linebacker can not afford to be doing crap like that

I distinctly remember that call and used the same adjective to describe the play!   Kept their drive alive when the game was still hanging in the balance.    Not having watched the game and instead opting to listen to it on CJOB I didn't see if it was egregious or simply bad luck?  Comments?

I would say, stupid. It wasn't much of a hit, but the ball was long gone. Didn't expect that out of SG44.

Is there any hope Schoen plays?

O'Shea said, after the game, he wouldn't count AB04 out for the Grey Cup.  You would think he would not make that statement if it actually was the Achilles.

I agree it was a stupid penalty. Ball was long gone and he easily could have avoided direct contact, but instead he leaned in with his shoulder for the late hit. May have been heat of the battle type of deal, but I still expect better from him.

It wasn't much of a hit, but VA went down like he was hit with a cannon ball.

This is true, that's why I am saying IF. However, you don't often see a player carted off the field and return the next week. AB4 was putting no weigh on that ankle at all. Very sad to see.
