Interesting that Rasheed Bailey is not on this list nor is he on the 1 game or 6 game injury list on the Blue Bomber web site.

Dalton Schoen shows on the 1 game injury list on the Blue Bomber web site...

11 days to heal some of these but it will be interesting to follow future reports on all these players.

11 players are listed as questionable. Nothing new here. Total garbage as far as transparency.

I don't believe players can be added to the 6 game IR late in the season. If teams were allowed to do that, teams out of play offs would transfer players in order to save SMS.

The rosters since before the last game haven't been revised. All the vets that didn't dress still show on the AR and none of the PR players shown on the AR.

Yah, information management has been a disaster this season and I don't know if it's the individual teams fault for not keeping their rosters up to date, or if it's the CFL's fault in conjunction with "Genius" the info. management gurus.

It's supposed to be done by the CFL.CA folks IIRC. The strange thing is it's not even consistent team to team. PR changes seem to take a bit longer with a grace period during a given week and / or a bye week.

We'll see. I wasn't actually expecting to see the updates until at least next week. Even though we've got a practice, we're technically on a bye. If they do update the rosters then in theory we've got to release some players from the PR to make room.

Unless all / most of the recent additions are all future contracts.

Hard to say if the Bombers are undercutting the rules, or just using the existing rules to their advantage.

But is the semi-final week really a "bye" for the #1 teams?  As in forced time off for players to go home?  Or is it just another normal week for us?

From the schedules released it looks like it's just business as usual -- but with no game come the weekend.

It is not a bye in the regular season sense. Players receive playoff money for the semi-final bye. It counts for a game for players on the 6-game. The only difference is there isn't actually.a game this weekend and therefore roster isn't submitted. It's a working week like any other.

I don't think the Bombers are undercutting the rules. Signings have been made and tracked on CFL.CA. It's just the rosters haven't been updated. During the regular season, players aren't usually added to the IR until the last minute as final decisions have been made.

Take Bailey as an example. If he was injured in the last game he wouldn't be added to the IR the day after the game. They wait to see if he recovered during the week and was able to practice. Some players may have serious injuries while others are tentative ( questionable ) but having limited practice. So those are finalized when the roster is decided.

This week there was a practice scheduled for today and Saturday IIRC. Next week we probably see 3 + a walk through of practice?

The original list shows 12 starters as questionable and the roster is still not updated from last weeks game. I have no doubt most of those players will play next week except probably Schoen.

None of that group even played last week. lol

We won't find out much since it was a closed practice on Wednesday. Maybe we get a bit of info from the practice on Saturday.

So far, going into this "bye", WPG has more injuries to star players than TOR.  We can only hope our stars are healthy for the WDF and/or GC.  As we got unlucky late-season on injuries, maybe it'll even out for TOR in the EDF.  These things tend to even out.

I guess one big iffy injury question for TOR is what was up with Kelly's leg/ankle.  I'm assuming he'll be 100%, but maybe it'll be bugging him and be aggravated in the EDF.  A hint might be how much he tries to run.  We won't know for another week...
