Today's IR report shows Clements not practising for the 2nd day. We might be seeing Briggs starting at WIL which would take our starting Canadians to nine. He has taken on that role in 2021 when Wilson was injured early in the season.

Does Cooper get added as another import to work on ST's?

I think we will see either Mack or Wilcots back.

Maybe. Riders don't have a good running game with Morrow out so DL might not be a the top of the need request. That's why I focused on an ST player, noting that he might be a player that could see some action as a DE. Lost hope for Mack and Wilcots but they do know the play book.

I disagree. Hickson is a good RB. 15/129 against BC. And our run D hasn't been rock solid this year.

Hickson had a 129 yards  rushing against BC....he looked very good.   With FJardo not having healthy knees they will try and establish the run so we better be prepared for it because the Stamps ran hard against us with great success.    Mind you they have both Logan and Carey back there and arguably the best 1/2 running combo in the CFL.    They will need to dial in on Hickson early and not let the Riders establish any kind of running game.....we are pretty beat up even after the bye and 9 days between games.

Corrected. I don't know where we are rate in the CFL, but I would be surprised if we are in the top 5.

I disagree with your disagree. Look at his stats in the 3 games before that and for the season. Lions had some defensive players go down in that game that impacted the rush yardage. Because Fajardo will be less mobile we can focus on Hickson IMO.

Not sure about your logic as Brady wasn't exactly burning up the league in his first 3-4 games however he now leads the CFL in rushing.   What I saw of Hickson he looked pretty darned good last game regardless of how many BC linemen went down..    At least the Riders don't have a dual running threat like Calgary has so if we can shut him down or minimize his impact, I agree we can go all out for Cody.

I think we are top 2 or 3 in scoring against categories. Mid to bottom half in yards given up. I would be curious to know where we are in take aways and turnover ratio though?

Yes, that will be interesting.

I expect the Riders to bring pressure early and often. Buck and ZC8 with have to have an answer for that. I also think they will try and exploit our run D.
