The enfatuation that strevs is coming back is mind blowing. Face it folks, he ain?t coming back. He is going to exhaust any and all NFL possibilities and he will get more looks. Teams would be crazy not to look at him as a short yardage Qb. So chill out and follow his career ride south of the border

Strevelski might end up in the CFL one day, in the meantime, he will get amazing coaching in the NFL, will work hard to improve his passing skills even more, and mature into a solid CFL QB just about the time for Collaros to retire....
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

FWIW, the Jets are hopeful he'll clear waivers and end up on the PR.

I'd expect him to clear waivers. OTOH a PR spot is not the worst situation financially but doesn't really move him closer to getting onto the AR. It will take an injury and that could happen game 1 or game 17.

He's been officially added to the PR per Ed Tait.

I wonder how much PR eligibility he has left.

He's never been on the PR.

Maybe a few weeks on the Ravens' PR. But he's got a pretty full allotment.

He was assigned to the Ravens' PR last November after being waived by Cardinals.

He's still got plenty of eligibility based on the criteria as far as I understand, though.

Hell, I'd be happy getting $11.5K per week to be on the practice squad.

$11,500 American currency is $19,500 Canadian, and if that is per week then that is $78,000 per month. If the season is 5 months that makes a total of $390,000.

Nice do you earn pension on PR?

It?s 15,126.00 CDN per week x 18 weeks= $272,268.00 CDN

The Zipp

back up QB in the NFL best job ever...maybe long snapper is close.

As the back-up (not PR) you are making some great money, not taking hits and if the starter stays healthy you may never any meaningful action.
