...the Coyotes will likely be sold to Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith shortly after the team's final game on Wednesday, and that the deal will include a provision guaranteeing current owner Alex Meruelo an expansion team in Arizona if a new arena is built within five years.

Looks like Dubois is back on the 4th line in LA... I wonder how much of his deal LA will have to swallow to ship him to MTL?  8 yrs at $8.5, isn't it?  Chevy dodged a bullet with that one...

When does "next season" start?  Can they move him now?  At the draft?

I can't see him being a King next year, unless they change coaches too... yes, Hiller is interim, but he's done pretty good so far. 

Maybe management looks for an HC that can get something out of PLD?  unless a coach thinks they can get him rolling, having an $8.5 million 4th line centre is going to hamstring the team.

For all the Chevy hate out there (and there are good reasons going back to his Chicago days), he certainly made a Silk Purse out of a sow's ear here.  Liane is out of the league at the moment, PLD is on a 4th line, and we have Vilardi and Iafallo playing significant roles here, and Kupari to boot.

I heard discussion about whether to start LB in the playoffs if we are matched up with a team he has a better record against.  The fact it is even a discussion, when you have a Vezina goalie who is having a great year, well, could you want more?  How many goals against until you pull CH37?  If he has 2 games where he struggles and we lose, is it a consideration in game 3?  I really hope this is never a consideration, but can you imagine?  Could we even rest CH37 if we get 2 or 3 wins in a series?  Is that a luxury any team has had in recent years?

No, they can't move him now; the trade deadline was weeks ago. I suppose they could trade him at the draft, much in the same way the Jets did last year, but that doesn't seem likely when you look at the contract particulars.
