The changes on D are encouraging minus Thomas but that won't change for awhile yet. Streveler starting and getting first team reps is also nice.  The receivers are barely U-Sport quality.  Mitchell should be on there.  That said I think we squeeze out a tight one.  If they even play with the smoke.  Fingers crossed.

Maybe not with crowds over 30k but Montreal did sell out for 105 games in a row when the stadium held 19.5k

lol, didn't count then and it doesn't count now.
My wife is amazing!

lol

OK, how about the Riders having 17 straight sell outs from 2007-2008 (including the 2008 season being sold out)

Not sure if there are longer ones than that one other than Montreal's.

SECOND POINT:

Don't do the "Let's go Bombers" chant when we're on O!  Ya, I know this is just the noobs and fairweather fans (usually drunk).  But it really irks me, and I can tell it does Zach too.

We saw some of this in the BC & EDM games, and sometimes last season too.

What do we do about this?  Do the ol' "standing up waving arms down be-quiet thing"?  Remind them this ain't a hokey game?  Vet fans who see this need to quell it!

P.S. I'm fine with the wave, even with it's little "ooooooooOOOOOOOOOO" noise.  Makes the fans happy.

Yeah, if you want the sell outs, you have to deal with new fans who are there to party. Drunks aren't going to pay attention to a player they're not watching wave his arms around.

The wave upset me once this season when it happened on offence and they're cheering with it. Be quiet.

Ya, the wave while we're on O irks me too

Attendance comes in "waves". Sooner or later we'll be back to 26,000 average and there won't be wave, they'll be an empty seat beside you. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Crowd did me proud tonight.  Some of the noise in the last 4:00 was BB-level.  And I think it really got to Arbuckle, and really helped quash those drives.

They took a while to get into it, and if Vaval hadn't answered that ugly early TOR score, they may have been left for dead.

And everyone was quiet on O.  And I think we may have more forum readers than I thought, because many more people were starting to make noise in the huddle rather than wait for the 20s or huddle-break.  I find this interesting...

And there was a couple of really riled up crazies in my area with bells and horns going, trying to get the crowd pumped in the 4th.  Love to see it!!

Thanks crowd!

Crowd was as loud as ever last night where we sit.

BomberFan73

Seemed real loud on TV too.  8)

It was LOUD, Streveler brings that energy and crowd/team feeds off of it.  Most fun I have had at a game in a long time!

Crowd was loud last nite, and I agree that was a fun game - two returns for TD's had a lot to do with that fun.  Almost lost it with that stupid play call to throw into the end zone corner with minutes left instead of grinding it out on the ground and take the easy 3.

And Streveler usually does bring that energy with the crowd following and getting energized, but that did not happen last nite.  The crowd was into it in spite of Streveler.  He was not getting the fans going with his angry pacing, screaming swears at the top of his lungs as he comes off the field as he has in the past.

It was ALL Streveler.  The Strevy Tide rises all boats!!  So refreshing to see.  Dude is the best! And yes, Hogan is in over his head.  Horrible call.  Run the ball, take the 3.
