I may be wrong but I don't think Lewis caught that ball. On replay it looked like it was on the ground.

The defence came up big all through the game

The also continue to give up 70+ yard drives. Ottawa had 15 minutes more TOP by the end of the 3rd Q. Obviously part of that was on the offence, but we can't stop teams on 2nd and long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugly, but a win.  4-2 and a bit of a cushion on Calgary and BC.

Ok. I give part of the problems on offence is that Brown is still new to the playbook and chemistry with receivers.

I didn't like some of the play calling on offence, but again somewhat vanilla at times due to new QB.

Most of us have never been fans of the bend but don't break defence. Soft coverage nearly made the game insurmountable.

How we overcame that was impressive.

Note: I like the play of Kelly again. Reese and Fletcher are getting better each game.

Good:  Sergio 3 for 3 FG
Bad:  Our Offense, can't generate enough first downs, our Defence too tired
Ugly:  Ottawa is going to win their 1st game

Yeah that is just a technique issue to learn from. It wasn't intentional at all IMO.

His accuracy seemed off but some of that may have been on the receivers. That said he was lucky a few weren't picked.
