Ceresna not injured is a good thing but I wonder what his problem was last game. Dehydration maybe?
I only quick read the thread, wasn't much for detail.

Ceresna is hard to say.  Willie was saying was moving fine after the game but also hinted at possible missed time.

I hope we stop starting 3 Canadian receivers. It's doing no good to our offense right now.
When an American receiver goes down (just like the last game) our offense goes nowhere.
Add Singer or Fredericksen as the 3rd American receiver and only start Demski and Nield as Canadian receivers.

I just hope we use the roster rules to help there. It's getting pretty tiresome that we flat out refuse to engage with them even through they're no longer new and absolutely widely adopted. At some point doing your own thing there stops being different and endearing and starts feeling out of touch and behind the times ... And I'm a big O'Shea fan but come on.

I could be wrong but I believe Daniels, MCI, Corcoran and Cobb all share the role of the 12th player on the field, unless an Import receiver is taken off for short yardage only one can play at a time. Making the 5th receiver an Import wouldn't add much and it would eliminate flexibility from that roster spot.

Except the Cobb/Corcoran spot isn't producing anything at all.  I think 0 stats all last game.  Maybe 1-4 completions all season so far.  That's useless.  And they are dropping too, so they're wasting targets.

Just imagine what Singer might do if he got that starting spot.  Surely he can't do worse -- and if he does, start Fredericksen.

Since we have 8 NAT starters at the moment, why not give it a test run??  Cobb or Corcoran can be the backup.

So does Zach skip practice on Friday?

Why would he do that?

His buddy Travis is apparently getting married in Friday.

There is also a smaller event on Thursday that I'm sure Zach would want to go to as well if he's able to swing it.

Zach could head to Hamilton from New York.

And that helps us win how?  And now Wallace with a "personal day" week?  And Neuf before that... I really couldn't give a rats butt about a big-hoopla celebrity wedding.  Do we give other guys days off for their nobody friends' weddings?  (Your *own* wedding excluded, of course -- although holy moses, maybe look at a calendar and do some better planning!)

Have fun Zach, getting on camera and being seen with famous people.  Come back and throw some slow curls with an even slower wind up so the DB can break it up.  At least after we lose you can tell your buddies all about the famous bride.  Priorities.

I guess we should all consider ourselves lucky the wedding wasn't on Sunday, or we'd be starting Elgersma against BLM and go 0-60.

I doubt Collaros gets time off for the Kelce wedding. Neufeld was off for to support his wife having twins, so not exactly the same kind of comparison.

I haven't heard why Wallace might not be at practice yesterday. There could be a 100 reasons that are legit for that to happen. Last week we didn't exactly know why Neufeld was off so let's not jump the gun.
One game at a time

Blue In BC

I'm not going to be able to watch the game live this week. IDK but maybe that will be less stressful than watching it. lol

I'll be in Whistler for the weekend enjoying the sun and mountains and will record the game on the PVR.

Do a head count, the Cobb/Corcoran spot is actually the Cobb/Corcoran/MCI/Daniels/Clercius spot. Sub Singer in for Corcoran, Cobb or Clercius and he's still sharing reps with MCI and Daniels as well as coming off the field when they bring Vibert on as the 6th man.  I wouldn't mind if they eliminated the 5th receiver and made Daniels an every down TE, as long as they make good use of him.

dd

I am all for the TE formation, our pass pro would be so much better, and really, if the #5 spot is wasted, help out blocking on the line.

If I was Collaros I'd go, it is going to be an epic event, and as for us playing Hamilton, we haven't got a prayer man of beating those guys with our soft secondary. They will score 40 no problem, we won't score 25.
