Looks like the boys will have a long weekend to think about all the mistakes they made. Should be back on the field on Tuesday. Right now we have no American DL on the PR. Depending on JC94 injury I would think we are looking at someone. If Pokey is out I would like to see CF84 come off the PR. Like his size, 6'3" 210, he also had a very good TC.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

I don't even want to think that long or hard about what will happen to us if we fumble the ball 5 or 6 times again, BLM and Kenny will hang 50 on us

The health of the club is a big concern at OL and DL as these are the pillars of any good team.

Agree bring in a DT if he's out.

Hopefully we can find a solution at OL temporarily until we get healthy.

Losing Pokey was a big deal, 84 vs. 17 what's the thoughts on the comparison between the two?

I don't think Wilson misses any time. Concussion protocol and even Jefferson said he spoke with him and he said he was ok.

OTOH, players always say they are ok. The knight in the Monte Python sketch " it's only a flesh wound ".

I think Singer is faster and more elusive than Fredrickson and the most likely to be added if Wilson is indeed out.

As far as the injury to Ceresna. Someone mentioned he was groggy. I didn't see the injury so it could have been an overheat situation or a concussion issue as well.

We did have an extra import DL when we added Reese and Fletcher. It would be nice to know the status of Dixon. He could be gone for an extended time or back practising this week. Same for Schmekel or even Kornelson. Either would allow a ratio change from the extra DT even if that was just a sub for Ceresna.

I guess we'll have to wait until we see the IR report after 1st practice next week.

With the stats, record and eye test of our defence as a whole this season, currently sitting at 33% winning record after 17% of the season, as I said before we are trending to surrender a modern day CFL record against for rushing yards against, all while each one of VAJ, Bo and Cofaj each systematically dissecting our secondary in the passing game.

I see no reason BO doesn't do even better this game with them being at home. Look what he did to us in our house, the only reason he didn't have a career day, was due to them backing off and going to the run Bo laid 287 and 3 td's passing even after backing off, 233 of that was before the half, and they added 168 yards rushing all while also hanging 37 on us in our house for our home opener in front of a sell out crowd.....

We have seen enough of our 2026 defence to say it is not good enough to compete, we can't say it was one game or an anomaly, or one player or scheme, no it is a consistent pattern of very poor play. From fundamentals like tackling, to lack of hustle to the ball, to clear confusion on assignments and blown coverages its just not good enough....

I really see us a 6-8 win team this year unless something seismic changes in our defence...

Bo - like all qb's will have a stinker now and then, he is due.

Lets hope, we should have a better game plan at the very least

For Bo a stinker might be 250 to 300 at this pt 🤔,  need duck season to come early

Yes, they all lay the odd egg,but BLM has Kenny and Smith as recievers, they are 2 outstanding recievers, and against our weeeeeak secondary, they're light us up. I am thinking BLM will keep the ball away from Evan Holm, but he will eat up the others mercilessly.

I don't know.  He was nearly the best QB last season (Alexander was better but injured).  And he looks twice as good this season.  He may be better now than he even was when winning cups in CGY.  Scary stuff.  (And HAM has a top D, too!)

Unless we see some sea change by BLM (maybe if he gets sacked hard 3 times), I think he'll win the East by 2-3 games over MTL.  This may finally be his year.  Hopefully it's WPG vs HAM in the GC and we find a way to win one game.  :D  :D

I'm with BinBC.  Singer is my man.  Fredericksen showed splash and effort and ladder climbs and... didn't catch it.  You have to come down with it, or all that circus counts for nothing.

However, we have 2-3 water bugs already -- and Singer is kind of another.  And if he's not a bug, he's a lot like White.  If you want the bigger body, Fredericksen is the man.  We just have to hope his hands have improved.

Given that HAM is the best team right now, I would seriously be happy with just hanging around and not ending up 50-3.  If we can stay within 1 score all game (garbage time doesn't count!) and battle, get long drives on O, and see that the D shored up the mistakes of 3 weeks ago, then it will be enough.

As always, I'm more concerned about how we fare against the W.  If we win, that's gravy.  If all goes well, we'll see them in the post-season...

I wouldn't count Toronto out, they will give certainly Montreal and Hamilton a run for their money.

If ceresna cant go I could see us adding a db, hopefully at safety. Against the cats we need a guy that can cover and with speed to help out against the cats big play receivers.
Younger needs to change up the d from the one that got destroyed by Bo last game

I don't know if we have an import that fits that skill set. If we do, what is the impact with Kramdi and Griffin. Even if Kramdi moves back to SAM, that would make Griffin a rotational player again.

We might see some newbies signed on Monday to fill up our PR as injuries mount.

Anyone hear where Allen is in his rehab or even what his injury was earlier? He's missed 3 games, the bye and this week means he's been out for quite awhile. I wonder if he's close to being ready to return? That said, it didn't seem as though he was expected to be the starting safety in 2026.

If cersna is out, we just went from bad to worse on defense
