As gross of a thought that this is, it is true.

They gave it to Saskatchewan at mosaic no less, which is no small feat. Every is talking Alexander and BLM, but Kelly is deadly as well.

Quote from: Tecno on June 28, 2026, 08:33:22 AMI'm with BinBC.  Singer is my man.  Fredericksen showed splash and effort and ladder climbs and... didn't catch it.  You have to come down with it, or all that circus counts for nothing.

However, we have 2-3 water bugs already -- and Singer is kind of another.  And if he's not a bug, he's a lot like White.  If you want the bigger body, Fredericksen is the man.  We just have to hope his hands have improved.
Yeah a tough choice but Singer is my man too

As much as I hate to say it, Kelly is a real weapon at QB. He's got a great arm and is generally quite accurate. He's got a pretty good group of recievers going also. He is great at extending plays, and running when he has to. He reads defenses well and quickly. He takes a hit, and it does not seem to phase him, no happy feet, very poised in the pocket. His only weakness (other than being of poor moral character) is a tendency to force the long ball when its not there, and overthrow a bit on the long ball. Twice he had receivers open in the end zone on long passes and overthrew them. A ball hawking secondary might be able to make him pay. Not our's unfortunately though.

The other thing about Toronto is that they do a very good job scouting American talent. They seem to find difference makers on a regular basis who are young, athletic and talented. As much as I hate to say it, you probably have to credit another questionable moral character, John Murphy for that.

John Murphy is no longer with them, although he may still be consulting, last seen as a guest on the Rod Pedersen Show.  The Argos are run on a skeleton staff, and Pinball is the team mascot, hard to take that organization seriously.

Thanks, I did not know he had left. His fingerprints are still likely all over the signings from last year and this year though since he left at the end of 2025, and it's often several years work to get American prospects to come up to the CFl. I'm not sure why I'm going out of the way to try and give him credit, since from all appearances he's not a very good person.

The boy's are back on the field. Waiting for DTs injury report.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

Hopefully our pass prevention makes adjustments, last game against Hamiliton with Marshall and Holms side, one receiver would stop up short taking Marshall out, then Holm plays so deep on the second receiver that they were open for 10 yard pass all night long. Our secondary against Blm needs to be much tighter with the safety helping to cover breakdowns

Fajardo seemed to be picking on Holm's side, he made 8 tackles the majority of them from completed passes right in front of him.  He's become one of the D's best tacklers but doesn't make as many knock downs as he did in years past when he would arrive last second.
