DNP list...

DS83.  Ankle
ND10.  Ankle
JM87.  Hip
RB88.   Knee
JJ94.    Hip

All other players Full Practice status.

That's not encouraging with 4 key starters in the list. 3 of our receivers as DNP today is ok, but they need at least 1 practice this week + walk through. Fingers are crossed for good news later this week.

Not to worried about JJ94 or ND10. Typical first day of practice for both of them. RB88 will play, so the only ? is DS83.

My gut tells me they will play as you suggest. Lack of transparency with IR reports is annoying though.

Today's IR report still shows all the receivers as DNP. That raises the stress level somewhat. However, still banking on Demski and Bailey playing with an outside chance of Schoen as well.

The other site reports Demski and Bailey working out themselves on the sidelines.

you have to wonder if Demski in trying to achieve the 1000 yard mark by going back in after his injury didnt hurt his chances of playing in the wsf.

The fact is that we have 3 starting receivers not healthy enough to practice two days running. Am I the only one concerned?

We're concerned but also used to vets with bumps and bruises taking time off from practice when necessary. Jefferson was back today but he's had issues with his hip through last year and this year.  The receivers know the play book and have chemistry with Collaros. So they just need to be ready physically without pushing the envelope in practice.

Nothing is guaranteed so that adds to the concern but it's not unlike what we've seen all season. Players listed as DNP or limited and then questionable on the last day.

Not much we can do about it and see what becomes official on Friday. The fact we did add Ambles does suggest he may be the player stepping up in place of Schoen. The downside there is that McCrae is also used somewhat in the running game. He's provided about 400 yards in offence in 11 games being used in a limited fashion.

Does Ambles provide a greater overall threat to him if Schoen doesn't play? Maybe someone knows whether he's seeing 1st team reps at all???

Same with Bailey, you couldn't keep those two off the field, this is what they play for.

I'd rather they dress McCrae over Ambles, he adds more versatility and they should be fine with BOLO, McCrae and Grant able to fill in where needed.

Ya, if we play Ambles we're taking huge gAmbles.  Get it?  Ba dum dum.

If we dress Ambles for WDF that means we're in heaps of injury troubles.  Late-signed fast-track receivers often turn out badly.

I'd take a McCrae or BOLO who know the routes and schemes and signals and will be in the right place and whiff on the catch over a new guy who keeps running when he's supposed to cut and a HB gets an easy INT.

I guess the best case right now is if we're ok at WR for the WDF and Ambles in insurance against another WR going down in the WDF going into the GC.

No, I m with you on this one. Bailey pulled his hamstring and was limping noticeably at the end of last game, hamstrings can take forever to heal, and he may want to play more than anything, but if your hamstring ain't ready you ain't playing. Not sure what the status is of Schoen's ankle, but if Bailey, Schoen and Demski are out, that seriously alters the playbook, but I m not sure how pass-happy our offense will be in this game, I m thinking they try and pound the rock to chew up clock and keep BC's offense on the sideline. We'll see....

Schoen replaces Lawler so we have a nice deep receiving corps still no doubt.

Both ND10 and RB88 worked out on the sidelines with the trainers today for about 30 minutes. So, I agree they will both play.
