Tipping @IGF

The new payment machines at IGF (which all seem identical/unified now?) make it pretty tricky / onerous to not tip.  Back when it was cash I almost never tipped (mostly no tip jars, so impossible).  Lately I just take the easiest option (15% now I think!) but since we drop around $50 on food/drink every game it may tough to sustain all season.

What do you do now?  Any comments on what you'll do going forward or ideas for WM/IGF?

When I used to drink I would tip a bit.  Now I don't.  Been sober for 5 or 6 years.  I tip when service and quality is good.  Neither is usually present at IGF for food imo (upper deck is where I purchase).

Problem is, you don't know if the service will be good until *after* you have paid    Can't drop a loonie in any tip jar from your credit card once the food is delivered...

Really pisses me off when I tip and then I discover the beer is warm. Like last game. I know it was insanely hot but it's not the first time this has happened. Figure out a way to keep the beer cold please.

Pop was warm a few times too.  However, later in the game we did find ice cold gatorades at the W 200-level pizza kiosk.  That really hit the spot.  Good zah too.

My son spotted Cyclone popsicles being eaten, but we didn't manage to find who was selling them.  Glad to see popsicles are back @IGF after 3(?) year absence.

Talked to a few workers and they dont even know how the tips are shared.
Have always tipped for good service but to tip for the passing of an overpriced pop from a fridge three feet away...wont happen.

Holy smokes!  Ask more of your questions in week 1 and see if they got anything from tips in the PS2 game.  I'm curious to also know how much it came out to.  If 33% (the poll results so far) are tipping, it could be thousands of $$ shared among a couple hundred concession employees?  It could actually be a nice bonus of a couple of hours work up to doubling their night's pay when the crowd is 25k!!

Does anyone know the secret button to hit when it shows the tip options in order to skip the tip?  I didn't see it upon quick glance.  Must have been at the bottom in smaller font?

Ya, I hate the autotip.  And the fact it often only starts at like 12 %. 
What ever happened to 10%?  Cost of everything has gone up, so 10% now is alot more than 10% 5 years ago

How do you skip the stupid auto tip?


I know a few people that go without buying anything as they didn't want to tip and couldn't get past the "auto-tip" so they did it the first time and then haven't purchased since as they were PO'ed they were "forced" to tip

Select other amount then enter 0 then enter again? not rocket science
