B in BC called it.  It's a good play for EDM.  Can they get enough talent piled up to be better than garbage in 2023??

Bengals are working out several CFL players. Where does their connection or interest come from?

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor was on the Bombers PR for a year.  But honestly, the number of NFL teams working out CFL players is so large that any competent scouting staff can be presumed to have CFL players as one source of talent to monitor.

I looked at the Bengals front office roster, and no other names jumped out at me, but it does appear they might have a nepotism issue at the management level...

There's a handful of teams that always host CFL players - Bengals and Giants come to mind immediately, but there are a couple of others too.
My wife is amazing!

Players are eligible to sign NFL deals day IIRC. Whether any are ready to do so or are continuing workouts is a TBD. IMO Rourke and Schoen are the most likely to NFL players in 2023.

A few others might get TC offers but whether they can stick IDK.

Rourke is already receiving offers of guaranteed money, I don't see any teams doing the same for Schoen, he will have to fight his way onto an NFL team.  Chance he is a Bomber this year are still 50/50 IMO, what he wants to do is up to him.

Ottawa Redblacks re-sign quarterback Jeremiah Masoli through 2024 - 3DownNation

The Ottawa Redblacks have signed franchise quarterback Jeremiah Masoli to a contract extension through 2024. His contract was scheduled to expire following the 2023 season. ?Having consistency at the quarterback position is a key piece to have success as a CFL team, so we?re very happy to be able to keep Jeremiah Masoli in red [?]
