Sure but he is a real crotchety old whiner. His live shows could be real good or utter crap depending what mood the old fart is in.
Overstated on the negative, none factual, just an opinion.  Seen him a bunch of times, all great imo.  Sure he has off nights, who doesn't.  OK, never seen PJ have a bad show lol.

Too bad you had a bad experience, not every show can please everyone.  Seen him a over a handful of times, here and in the USA, never been disappointed.  Also seen him with CSNY which was great.  I desperately want to see him at least one more time with Crazy Horse.

When I seen him played his Greendale album in its entirety many fans just wanted the hits but Uncle Neil delivered an amazing show and at the end played 3 of his greatest hits.  Neil does what he wants and that's true art.  Those fans that just wanted the hits likely went home unhappy but the cult followers like myself were left with a life long memory of a once in a lifetime show.

I seen Neil's live show of Greendale, enjoyed that album, his film and even a graphic novel (all same theme).  His music has incredible depth.

Neil will never please everyone but he sure hits home with me.

Sorry Goldie, I just get defensive with the things I love, Neil and the Bombers top that list!

Everyone has their own opinions when it comes to music, but Neil's time as a headliner has long since passed if we're talking about 2022 Grey Cup options.
My wife is amazing!

The Glorious Sons are an option. They are not on tour, and I would say have taken over from the Hip as Canada's rock band since Gord passed.

The musical act usually skews younger to satisfy advertisers.

I respect Neil Young and am proud of him.  I jut don't like his vocals, nor do I think he would be a great stage show.  Helped put Canada on the map way back when CSN&Y - "Ohio" great song.

Sheep dogs are actually pretty good, They can rock a bit and carry a tune.  At this stage as good as anyone.
Tom Cochran same,  Burt would be a slam dunk, and he'd be home to watch the end of he game.

Might be Burton Cummings, as he lives in Moose Jaw.

My lord please NO, he botched and butchered our anthem in a GC back in 2012, that was nauseating and embarrassing, so no not again ever.

He would be very good .  i thought he might be the half time act since Regina isnt saying a word. Or they dont have anyone yet.

Neil and Crazy Horse would blow the roof off the place imo.  They can still rock.

Neil also recently toured with The Promise of the Real, who include one of Willie Nelson's kids.

Colter Wall is from Swift Current, probably not uplifting enough for a half-time show though.

Other Sask. Bands.

The Deep Dark Woods
The Dead South
