Never said I like his music, but he, Anne Murray and Gordon lightfoot were the pioneers for Canadian music, I am just respecting my heritage and legends in Canadian music

Yes he is. Plenty of great Neil Young music like Ohio, Cinnamon Girl, Heart of Gold, American Dream, etc. What I like about Neil Young besides his guitar playing was that his lyrics gave you something to think about. Great artist. Canadian.

Wow the Blue Bombers better step up. The Watchmen halftime show? lol yeah right. That will cut in Wades bloody bottom line.
Like I said in a previous post there was not even fire pits at the last game in the tailgate area. That was an unpleasant shock to me. No more live bands either just wimpy DJs. Not impressive, just meh!

Neil is one of the greatest song writers this country has ever known.  His vocal style is unique.  His guitar playing is good to great.  Neil made it because he is a good musician, worked hard and has many natural talents.  He makes great films too. 

Too make it in the music business is as hard as it gets, to have the commercial success and cult following Neil has is extremely rare.  Neil helped create grunge music. 

He has had success solo and with many different backing bands.  He has released albums in many different musical styles and hasn't stopped innovating.

Sure but he is a real crotchety old whiner. His live shows could be real good or utter crap depending what mood the old fart is in.
