I think the real reason is Dickenson is starting to realize he's going to be the next one released unless he gets the clown show under control.

I guess the Riders got the choice of either releasing him or the CFL suspending him.  Looks better on the Riders if they did it rather than the league.  Guess Dirty Duke Williams is next and should take note that childish behaviour on or off the field will not be tolerated by the league.

His unnecessary hit on Collaros wasn't his only transgression in the LDC. About 4:50 of the 3rd quarter he blindsides Gray really hard straight in the back. Gray actually flies right into Moncrief as a result. Nowhere near the ball and no reason for it. Also no call. Just a goon out there.

I think Dickenson is sending a message to his lineup, that he's done talking until he's blue in the face--like he mentioned on his TSN interview, so he pulled the trigger on the most disposable delinquent Marino. Interesting to see with Lenius back in the lineup, if Duke pulls a Duke, will he be gone next??

It's really too bad that Marino couldn't clean his act up. Sask gave him more opportunity than most teams would have.
