The standings are interesting after the injury to Rourke. Now Calgary, BC and Regina are all fighting for 2nd through 4th. Each team can rise or fall depending on an injury on their team or the others in West Div.

That includes the Bombers but we'd got a pretty good lead and series advantages over Calgary and BC.

We're in a position to push the Riders to 4th and a crossover teams.

Interestingly that might be shortest / easiest route to the Grey Cup. Regardless, a 3 game sweep by the Bombers over the Riders would be nice to see.

We won't know until the first practice at the earliest which is likely Wednesday.

I looked and think you are correct, with 2 wins or a win and Hamilton loss, we secure a cross over.  If somehow there was no crossover then there would be no western team with enough points to catch us. I don?t think it is a jinx.  We will be in the play offs.

Getting word this morning that #Riders bad boy Garrett Marino "got into it" with some staff members over fact he wasn't listed first on depth chart Friday night.

I looked and think you are correct, with 2 wins or a win and Hamilton loss, we secure a cross over.  If somehow there was no crossover then there would be no western team with enough points to catch us. I don?t think it is a jinx.  We will be in the play offs.

With 2 wins vs the Riders it will put us @ 12-1 and them at 6-7.
Even if we lose out our remaining games (which I doubt) we will end with 12-6 and the Riders winning theirs (which is impossible) will end at 11-7. We still end with better record.

Just spent a couple of hours in Wilcox, SK. had some playful banter with a couple of Rider fans. Now in Weyburn, checking out hotels for the GC. One of the staff members at the hotel we are staying at told us that if the Bombers with a third straight GC she will shave her head.

It would be one thing if you were not listed first on the DC, and went out and piled up stats, like tackles, sacks, forced fumbles, knockdowns, etc... but not only did he not pile up a huge stack of stats, he was completely kept off the stat sheet.  He got zero stats.  The other "backup" DT, Brown, got two defensive tackles...

How SSK puts up with this idiocy is a mystery.  Its not like there aren't lots of DL options out there...  they have Keion Adams on their PR, who has more than twice as many tackles, and twice as many sacks as Marino, in the same number of games this year...  there is absolutely no logic to letting this idiot play.
