He recently congratulated the Jets on making the playoffs but that was tweeted by the NHL. He did similar videos for a few other teams making the playoffs, too.

I did not know that.  The Winnipeg media made a big deal out of it a week ago on twitter, so I just assumed there was a chance he was coming here.

Well he is a Hockey fan so theres that. But i figured out it wasent just for the Jets when i seen he had a NHL jersey on and not a Jets jersey.

Just checked and there are tweets, from WinnipegNow and CTV News Winnipeg, but it?s them embedding Snoop?s congratulations to the Jets into a tweet of their own.

He gave a shout out to the Jets on social media a few days ago, but never actually commented on coming to Winnipeg.

On a side note, Snoop was pretty entertaining on Kimmel last night.... was a little surprised when he referred to Trump as "the devil"
