Nice to see Trouba is back.

sportsnet's broadcast teams:

BOS-TOR: jim hughson, craig simpson
PIT-PHI: rick ball, greg millen
WPG-MIN: paul romanuk, garry galley, cassie campbell
VGK-LA: dave randorf, louie debrusk

the rest of the first-round games will simulcast NBC's coverage

I can live with the assigned crew....i prefer Romanuk to Hughson but that is just a personal preference.

The Jets will need to rely heavily on their speed and solid forechecking to be successful in this opening series.

No lazy skating allowed at this point.

I agree.

Speed, forchecking and hitting.

Pretty much do what the Ducks did to us a few years ago. Play a heavy fast game and never let up.

If it can't be our TSN crew I'm "okay" with this crew. I can't stand Randorf! Sportsnet from here on out...Ugh. Wonder if the Jets will ever make it to CBC? So ridiculous.

Roamnuk is not very good.  No surprise Toronto gets Hughson...he's one of the best in the business.

This. And I feel like the last few games they haven't played like this. Hopefully that was all about saving things up for the playoff series. And stay out of penalty trouble too!

I think the speed and forchecking was on point for the most part the last few games. IMO where they let up was the relentless hitting and finishing checks. This was prolly done so there is no injurys.

Awesome results for the efforts of PM & his staff ....... CONGRATS !!  If Gallant & Vegas didn't have such a miracle year then I think PM may have won the Coach of the Year.

The savvy that the top 2 lines have in Wild colours will certainly make it tough for the Jets top 2 lines.
If those savvy vets seal off the boards & the pass to get out of our end then we need Myers, Buff, Morrissey & Trouba to be smart & fleet of foot.  However .....
..... believe our bottom 6 flyers & muckers, will be critical to the success ....... the lines of Little & Lowry have to put the puck in when they create their chances.
Dubnyk, big & great positionally set, & HellB, can't say enough, are a saw off to me. Both can be extremely tough to beat on any given night.

Wild may win the 1st game but I'll call the Jets in 6 games.

He was invited by the organizers of the Whiteout Street Party but I don't ever recall seeing him accept said invitation (as wicked as that would be).
