How is it Walter's didn't bring Hollins in to help out our pitiful receiving corps?? You want a bonafide  deep threat with cfl experience he's it. Instead we bring McLeod with zero pro or cfl experience. I Just don't get it.Montreal who was strong to begin with just got waaaay better while we will continue to struggle.

And riders picked up big bodied NAT Tommy Neld, don't you think we could use him in our lineup. Nope go 'off the board' and bring in McLeod. Teams are strengthening their receiving corps , while we have yet to establish one!!

How many catches and yards did wheat field, corocan and clercius have?? 2-3 combined?? Teams are just going to focus on shutting the run down and doubling demski and we got nothing offensively

Pete

yeah  Strevy but your  comment on streveler was even more confusing after watching Strevs performance against toronto, (you think Zac wouldn't have won with 2 kr tds and a defensive td?)
but then again maybe not as your obviously a strev fanboy

The team would have been flat and we would have been throttled like the last three games if Zach started. The entire team's compete level rises when Streveler plays.  Dude is a firecracker 🧨.

The level of blind pumping Strev's tires on here by one of our newest member of this forum is way over the top imo

I love all our Qbs but need to have balance when discussing their play imo

Once again nobody cares what you think.  What ever happened to 'discussing football?'.  All you do is try and tell people how they should post and think.  Your knowledge of the game is limited at best so I can see why but sit back and learn. Once you understand you will be able to contribute something other than gossip about other contributors.

While I do have an appreciation for what Streveler brings to the game I do not feel he is starter quality and also IMHO believe that he can not and will not be our starting QB in the  once Zach returns.

We signed a new import OL. That's not a particular surprise but I do have some concern on whether that suggests Bryant might be gone for an extended time. I was hoping he would be back this week, but nothing is certain.

Vanterpool is also nicked so there may not be any immediate depth for a week or more?

Regardless I can imagine the PR will be shuffled to add this new OL. It's very likely a few others will be headed back to the PR, so we might see some cuts to make room.

Injuries, injuries. Here is my guess / hope for roster changes for this game. Everything depends on health of several players. Noting this is all guess work without knowing who will be practising this week.

Just food for thought and discussions.

1. Byrant back at LT
2. Lofton back at RT, Randolph moved to 1 game IR?
3. Peterson added to AR. Cooley back to PR.
4. Makonzo added to AR. Hallett moved to 1 game IR.
5. Collaros added to AR. Artopoeus moved to PR

Possible changes depending on health of Parker and Vanterpool.

1. Lawson added to AR to play at CB
2. Parker back to safety and all of last week's shuffle back to original roles with new experience.
3. Vanterpool at LG.

This is a change in ratio but could happen with Cooley back to PR. Starting 3 Canadian receivers could allow 3 import OL.

I think Hallett has moved down the depth chart with the return of Kelly. IMO having Makonzo gives us Canadian depth at SAM and elsewhere.

J. Jones had 2 ST's in his 1st game back. That might make Ayers less important on the AR, but unless Woods is a candidate to move TO AR, it may not be an issue.

Sure, I am sure Vaval can have another two return TDs and the D can add a TD as well.

Would be nice to see Bryant and Zach back this week. Hallett isn't coming out for Makonzo. Peterson in for Cooley, probably. Cooley had a rough game. Cam Allen could draw in and play safety, or Lawson replaces Parker. Can't see Parker back this week.

Three top STs players Ayres, Cad, Smith, with Hallett right behind them.

Ian Leroux has been outstanding replacing 38 year old Benson.

Boys should get a full week of practice in this week. Lots of time to figure things out.

Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

I haven't noticed Hallett on ST's lately. J. Jones and Kelly were both working on ST's in the last game. That's why I suggested a switch.

Yeah I get the love for Ayers but again J. Jones had more of an impact in his 1st game. Who were the two players that weren't being used on ST's that they replaced? He hasn't had 2 ST's since week 1.  J. Jones also so some reps on defence, so I'm thinking a possible transition if we need to change the ratio.

IDK that Woods is available but if I had a choice as a DI I'd pick Woods over Ayers now that J. Jones is on the AR.

Cooley didn't have a great game but there was no reason to add him against the Argos. Peterson will be added to give us other options with our ratio. Neither RB will see the field much if Brady doesn't get hurt.

Makonzo if healthy is probably good enough to start at SAM or possibly even safety. I'm not suggesting that but that's an improvement over Hallett as depth on the AR. It's not clear whether they'll add him after extending him on 6 game IR.

For what its worth here are the changes I'd  like to see:
add Petersen
add Mitchell or Mcleod
add Cam Allen to rotate in at safety , we need to see what he can do before its a situation we have to put him in with no experience
add Bryant (if healthy) and go with 3 import oline

to pr/1 game
Ayers (adding Allen gives us another for special teams)
Jones (if Bryant cant go then keep Jones on active roster)
Cooley
Corcoran

if Parker is injured add dexter Lawson

No need for Allen yet imo
Kelly is way ahead of him for now and he needs reps 1st
Played ok imo seen him in what looked like doube safety sets (guessing)
Not really interested in Mitchell at this stage
I want Woods on but DL was ace so maybe let that simmer 1st
