I am hoping a healthy ZC8 is back. Also hoping to see Dexter Lawson get into the line up. SB66 was moving well on the sidelines, he might be close. Monday's practice should update us on our injuries.

I'm expecting we might see some significant changes again for this game. In theory we'll get Collaros back. Byrant has missed 3 games so he could be back. How that changes the OL configuration is a TBD. Anything from Lofton back at RT and Vanterpool back at LG are in the realm of possible decisions.

Peterson should be back in for Cooley as the back up RB so that will flip the ratio. I'm not sure what the domino affect will be, but we'd have to bounce a Canadian and decide what import takes the DI spot.

Lawson in for Parker if he can't play or is there a different shuffle in the secondary with Allen coming in at safety?

Makonzo was extended on the 6 game IR but is healthy in theory. He might be a choice but who does he replace on the Canadian portion of the roster. Cobb would be another choice that could go back to PR.

Just noting that might be Hallett as his role seems less with Kelly and Ball now on the roster playing on ST's. Kelly was also playing on defence.

Makonzo might be useful in rotation at SAM with injuries and issues in the secondary. We might see another week of various players moving around whether Parker plays or not? I'd like to see him added to the AR.

Maybe it's time to give McLoud a chance at WR in place of Clercius who would become depth. That makes Cobb a bit expendable and bumped back to PR?
If any of that happens, then Mitchell should be released outright.

I can think of 2 others on the PR I'd release. Need to bring in a few new faces as NFL starts trimming rosters.

It's just a question of WHEN (not if) some other team picks up Mitchell now that he is on the PR making $500 a week. Likely to be a team we play soon.

McCleod is nowhere near ready. What's he had? 6 or 7 practices? With few reps I might add. He's still learning. Probably never saw a CFL game in person until last night. Not saying he won't play, but it will be later rather than sooner. That is MOS's way.

Teams can play PR player whatever they want. He might still be making his regular checks.

Mitchell was making full pay on the 1 game, there was no reason to send him to the PR unless they want to cut his salary and send a message.  Media telegraphing Mitchell is under-performing in practice, MOS is not going to put up with a lack of effort or poor attention to detail.

Doug Brown told a hilarious story about Elfrid Payton on the CJOB pre-game show, apparently he did not like to practice at all.

We don't know that and as I suggested we got ZERO from Clercius last night and not much this season. Can he stretch the defence and catch? He had 54 TD's in college.  If another team wants Mitchell they can have him IMO. We don't seem interested in playing him. This week is game 8.

Clercius may have a future but in the last 3 games he has 3 receptions for 29 yards in total. If McCloud can run a straight line down the sidelines and take a DB with him, that's all we need him to do at the minimum.  We need more speed at receiver that will stretch the secondary.

If Collaros returns then Artopoleus goes back to PR and roster space is needed.  Although Dawson and Peterson are probably going to AR this week.

Strevy

Looking forward to see how Streveler does against that Stamps.  Going to be a big test for him but the entire team's compete level rises when he starts.  We are in good hands.

You're underplaying Clercius contribution by just looking at the stats sheet, he is heavily involved in blocking on almost every play, be it run or pass, as is MCI.  Both play key roles in sustaining drives  especially when Brady is the focus.  Yes it would be nice to get more receptions out of him, but he is  performing a thankless but critical job with no fanfare.

No I'm not. What drives? I'm looking at the overall output of the offence with whichever QB plays. I like Clercius but a receiver has to be active as a receiver too. He's not doing that. Play calling, QB and OL are part of the equation but our receiving group has not been good.

At some point, we have to consider a change. I had already suggested moving him inside to slot and putting an import receiver at WR. If his contribution is blocking than he should be able to do that at SB.

Two games against the Argos ( worst defence in CFL ): 400 yards in total 33 / 49 completions, 1 TD and 5 picks over those 2 games. In the last game only 173 yards passing and a lot of that was great YAC by Demski and Oliveria.

Few seem to want to blame Streveler. It's both QB but the receivers are not up to par.

If Collaros is healthy he ll start and play and Strev will be our SY Qb. If Collaros can't go then we ll see another 100 yd passing game with 3 picks from strev

You're too quick to throw the baby out with the bathwater in search of a quick solution.  Both the QB and receivers as a group are under-performing, personnel change isn't the only solution. The important drives I'm referring to are the Bully Ball drives they use to grind down the clock, like the last one Strev orchestrated until he threw the interception in the endzone.

And have a chance to win. Zach was absolutely horrible against the Stamps back to back.  Strevy is 2-0 in his starts this season and we beat BC by more when he played.

Streveler is better and it's not even close.  That's not a bad thing.  Exciting times in BB land.

If a defence thinks a QB can't beat them passing then they load the box and take away the run game. Oliveria had 17 runs for 50 yards. That's the predicament that Streveler puts the offence in.

Having one relatively successful " drive " is not adequate. That drive was Oliveria and Demski taking the game on their shoulders with extraordinary effort.

We had 173 yards passing and 50 yards rushing from BO. 30 yards from Demski including a key 20 yard play.  That's hardly a game where we sustained drives to a great extent. 1 offensive TD and 4 FG's

I'm not looking for a quick solution. We lost 3 games in a row and were vastly out played. Last night we won because of 2 return TD's and a defence TD. Even then we nearly found ways to let the Argos back in the game because we couldn't sustain drives.

As I pointed out Corcoran had 2 catches for 16 yards and Clercius had none.

What was our TOP and how many 1st downs compared to Toronto?

No, you sound very confused though.  Maybe have a nap?
