I got a buddy who loves Jets/hockey.  Never goes to games though.  He says that when they get to "free" in the Canadian anthem that the crowd boos -- audibly on tv.

So I told him it's probably like the Bomber games and they are saying "blue", not "boo".

He says I'm wrong.  Can some of you Jets fans (like actually attendees) tell me I'm right so I can set this guy straight?!

You are right some fans yell 'Glorious and BLUE' instead of 'Glorious and free' during the anthem just like the bomber games.

Thanks all!  I'll tell him.  I'll also tell him to get his lazy butt out to a game!  Dude watches them all on TV, but never in person.

I knew there'd be some good cross-polination between fans.  If we give Jets a good "true north" then they owe Bombers a "glorious and blue".

I really like our fourth line. Barron is so big and strong, and has excellent speed. Nice to see him finding the back of the net. Another good road win.

MS55 should pass Wheeler as the Jets all time leader in scoring Saturday night. Jet for life and a true leader.

After a pretty sloppy home opener, they've been pretty solid despite some key injuries. Love the depth on this team at present.

Scheifele is having an incredible start. What a stud.

Great first 10 minutes and then the Preds started getting back up to the fast pace. HellB certainly had to be very good

Really nice tic-tac-toe play, on the PP, with Names finishing after Niño and Toews quickly moved it around

I was happy MS55s goal wasn't cheap empty net goal. Helle was outstanding. PP and PK really playing well. JT19 starting to find his grove. Now an early morning flight to Toronto for the Jay's game.

Incredible performance tonight from top to bottom. Hellebuyck was a brick wall and Scheifele cracking the franchise record for points is the icing on the cake.
