Got my buddy with that one, he just about crapped.  He has been saying all along Connor would end up in Detroit.

8 years, not the max, no trade.  I think both Chevy and Connor got good value in this deal.

This was a great deal for both.

Eichel got 13.5, Kaprisov 17, Draisitl 14, McKinnon 12.6, Matthews 13.25

Marner and Rantanen got 12...

8 years of control, even with the cap going up.

McDavid at 12.5 for 2 years means he will be eligible to sign for 8 years after this, and probably over 20 mil with the cap increases

Okay, I will go first. Fair to many penalties. We gave up to many shots and excellent score chances. PK with two SH goals. KFC worth every penny. 1st. line looked good most of the night. JT play well. About what I expected without Lowry, Fetts, and Samberg.

The big line were extremely efficient last night with good finish by our terrific Sniper
During the preseason games I kept thinking how poorly Schenn really plays and last night was an example. Big hitter but bad decisions with puck when needing to clear. He and Stanley did a lot of the penalty killing but otherwise Arniel short benched them as well as Pearson, Barron, Koepke and Chibrikov
Thinking Miller, Lambert and maybe Ford get into Sat. game

Schenn is very slow. Good on the PK, because he will block shots and he is physical. He also doesn't have to make a decision with the puck, because he can just fire it down the ice.

Great game and super victory. The Kings certainly had our boys backed up a lot, thankfully HellB brought his "A" game

Jets with a nice road win today. Comrie was very good. 4th line also very good today. But, another injury. PK has been outstanding.

Good sign that we're already getting Helle an off day. Really got to plan the schedule ahead of time this year with the extra Olympic games.

I got a buddy who loves Jets/hockey.  Never goes to games though.  He says that when they get to "free" in the Canadian anthem that the crowd boos -- audibly on tv.

So I told him it's probably like the Bomber games and they are saying "blue", not "boo".

He says I'm wrong.  Can some of you Jets fans (like actually attendees) tell me I'm right so I can set this guy straight?!

Been a partial season ticket holder since 2011, its definitely some bomber fans shouting "blue" like at the bomber games.

The flyer have some good young players and play well at home. Be nice if we can the 2nd. line going.
