He hit him shoulder to chest and didn't really crank him/run through him like a normal football hit. Loffler used to head hunt.

Loffler used to get flagged a ton even when he avoided the head, later in his career here.  Sometimes he'd just be using his hands.  If the REC was stopped dead or flipping around in the air they used to flag him every time.

This was right when the CFL started clamping down on any hellacious hits on RECs in the catching motion.

I guess it's ok though because on the next series BC got them back with a massive whack on Meyers... also something that Loffler used to get flagged for.

The key to drawing that flag is you need to do some writhing on the turf.  Writhing always helps your cause.

Sayles just stood still and let the reciever run into him and hit him clearly shoulder to chest. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that hit, and I am the first one to call out defensive players for head hunting, but this wasn't head hunting at all.

I'm only at the McInnis TD drop late in the 3rd... and I'm wondering if McInnis has bet his house on a BC loss today.  He's worse than useless so far.  In fact, he's sucked all season.  Everyone has figured out the "best Canadian receiver in the league".

BC has no OL.  It's really horrid.  Chungh sitting at home laughing with a hearty "toldya so".

Buck clearly works so hard on the 2 min tempo drill but they blow it repeatedly with dumb IP penalties.  Is BC the new EDM?  Just can't get out of their own way.

The only bright side is both W teams are beating the heck out of each other and injuries are piling up, which will hurt their games going forward.
