$265 sounds fair, if a bit high.  I guess the "300 or nothing" smashed into the brick wall of reality.

I'm taking Schoen @$230 over White @$265 any day of the week.  White is better at the go route, circus and dive, but Schoen is the smarter player at finding the holes and scrambling.  You need an inside player on your roster, too.  Our White is Kenny.  I like our mix (though pricey).

White ain't doing anything with cross-eyed noodle BLM anyhow.  Who's their #2?  He'll be moved up by week 4, mark my words.  I look forward to seeing Bo on the TSN Panel again.  That's where his current talent lies.

White at 265 is a bit high, but not mind boggingly high. He's a very good receiver.
Some people take this forum way too seriously.

Really more of a sign of the times of what top end receivers are earning nowadays. thanks Chris Jones.

Dave Naylor now reporting it as quite a bit less than $265. Seems like receiver salaries are coming back down.

"Tim White's 2-year deal with @Ticats comes in at just under $200k in hard money for 2023 season, with 12k in promo, $600 for each game on roster and another $15k in incentives. Second year hard money goes to just above $200k, promo $ goes to $20k. #CFL #Ticats"

White was faced with a "take it or leave it" offer with no other offers on the table.  Good for Hamilton for standing their ground, the days of receivers making $300k are probably over.

Jones is too old and has a bad haircut out of the fifties. Plus he is not as fast as White. Lol!

This FA season turned rapidly into a buyers market, for those with funds to spend.

There are a lot of players out there available on what will be team friendly deals now, for teams with needs and cap space.

Walters is usually the guy who makes the late FA deals, but this year, looks like the wallet is empty.

And Jones seems to have emptied his clip early, and ODay...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

So whites deal is looking more like it maxes out to 230 k this year and 258k next. Much on line with Schoen which makes sense.

Ya, it certainly feels like way more players than roster spots this FA (more than usual).  I think the money ran out (from all teams) because too many of the top-25 players are taking all the money.  It really seems to be hitting the middle players the hardest, unless they were smart enough to get on the horn early to re-sign before the FA chaos.

If the draft is good, it'll put even more pressure on existing guys.

Good for Bailey! I hope they give him some play there.
They will get winning culture from him for sure.
We will see who he's catching passes from this year though!
