Looks like Bradford is signing with the Cardinals, too. One year worth $20M, $15M guaranteed.

Cardinals really need to draft a QB.  They rode Carson Palmer into the ground and literally groomed nobody along the way.  Now they are stuck with Bradford and nobody.  With the Cardinals having 15th pick in the draft, they will probably have to settle for a guy like Lamar Jackson, unless they trade up to get Allen or Darnold.

Sir Blue and Gold

Never thought I'd see so much guaranteed money flying around. Times are changing (at least for QBs) in the NFL.

Decent QB but his knee concerns me.

Brees signed 2 years, 50 million (27 million guaranteed) to stay with the Saints.  Reports say another team, most likely the Vikings, offered him 2 years, 60 million (all 60 million guaranteed).  Looks like Brees gave the Saints a team discount.
Brees on the Vikings sure would have been interesting.

Apparently Josh McCown has been told he will be the Jets starting QB in 2018.  Did Bridgewater not also sign with the Jets or is that just a rumor?

So far it is just a rumor.  No way McCown is the starter for the entire year. Jets are forsure going to draft a QB this year, most likely Josh Rosen, who will probably be the starter before mid-season.

Chris1982

McCown`s hold on the starting QB job pretty much already gone.  If he actually begins the season as the starter, his leash will be very short.

Former Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater plans to sign a one-year contract with the New York Jets when the new league year officially begins Wednesday, per @mortreport and @diannaESPN.

Wow.  49ers massively overpay Jerrick McKinnon on a 4 year deal worth 30 million.  He is now the 4th highest paid running back in the NFL.

Seems everyone is getting overpaid.  I'm seeing mediocre receivers get 10 million per year  :o

he isn't worth that...although if someone pays it I guess he is...great pass catcher out of the backfield..

Exactly.  Thats why I said he is massively overpaid.  I think the 49ers panicked when they lost Carlos Hyde to the Browns.  Rumor is that the 49ers wanted Dion Lewis, but he signed with Tennessee instead.  Solid move by Tennessee.... Henry and Lewis will be a good Thunder and Lightning combo.

Chris1982

Rumor has it that Jordy Nelson will sign with Raiders, and subsequently cut Michael Crabtree.

He obviously isn't worth that based on his performance to date, but I think he'll be a really good fit for SF. Think they have a chance at getting decent value for that money.

Visiting Raiders today, then scheduled to visit the Seattle Seahawks, then the New Orleans Saints, per source.
