They should bring in the best Natl. kicker they can draft every season until one beats him out, it wasn't that long ago the majority of FG kickers were Canadians.

We should just ditch him.  He's lost his mojo.  Remember, he's not some NAT or GLOB who is on our roster "for free"... he's an IMP taking up a valuable DI spot.  Those guys are expected to be money.  And speaking of money, pretty sure Castillo is making top-level money for an IMP K.

We can't fault him too much for the final missed kick, but he's been missing so many lately that it's not an aberration.

I say we just go out and FA the best IMP long-range K we can.  At the moment that looks like the EDM guy, however he's not as "established" as we might want -- he might have just had a lucky season.  Or maybe Maltos.  I'm not interested in the (usually) short-only guys like Whyte and Parades.

Since we started being a winning team with Money Medlock, our M.O. and best years were with the league-best IMP.  And it's a winning solution because so few teams are willing to pay up for this type.

So sorry, Pappy.  You weren't clutch when we needed you, you cost us games, and you're wasting a DI and eating too much money.  The only way he should be back is if he takes a MASSIVE paycut and promises to fix his game in the off-season.

To anyone who is disappointed or complaining:

1. We were supposed to be 1'n'done in the post-season.  We weren't.

2. We were supposed to be blown away by MTL in this game.  We weren't.  Coulda/shoulda won it -- or at least taken the lead and had a chance for a last minute FG after a MTL FG.

3. I think the spread was 11 so we even covered the spread!

I think SB&G said it: we far exceeded expectations.  We're disappointed, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it was pegged to be.

I like Faj...I'd want the Elks to kill Alexander. I really like Killam's energy.

I like Rourke more, he is easy to cheer for.  I wish we could lure him here ,but probably never. Private ownership, good entertainment there, they have it good in Vancouver.

Faj is likeable. As is Kilam.

Ya I hear what you and others are saying, he s a big ticket kicker not earning his pay cheque. Bring in Lewis ward and the young NAT kicker Toronto had (if he's available) and go NAT kicker next year and the money saved goes to getting an impact OL man
