There is a depth chart on 3rd down but I can't seem to copy and post it?

Lousy start to day 1 with news of the Collaros suspension for 1 game. Also see on CFL.CA that Lawson and Schoen both transferred to " Injured Veteran ". That may just be to allow a bit more time before any need for practice. I suppose in theory it creates 2 openings for rookies in the short term to be on the TC roster?

Rookie DB Vaval did not practice. Reason not given. Rookie DB Mosely left the field injured on a cart. That's not a good thing for either of them. Both were on the list of rookies to watch.

Elgersma expected to get an offer from the Packers. At best that's an additional delay as to when he'll be available. Good luck to him, but darn it anyway.

EDIT: I see that's part of the info in the link post above.

A rookie camp depth chart in the link. It seems to include all the veterans as well. Regardless it may hold some interest. Note that it also includes some players that were released earlier ( about 4 ).

From Derek Taylor

Day 1
Bombers rookie camp is underway!! Early QB order appears: Collaros Streveler Wilson Artopoeus Patterson

Some veterans kicking around and some participating in rookie camp: WR Keric Wheatfall is not dressed, just helping out. WRs Myron Mitchell and Kody Case are participating. OL Micah Vanterpool working too.

The 300s are underway! The most-loathed of all camp running drills where you go 25 yards up and back six times.

Global defensive end Kemari Munier-Bailey lapped some players in his second heat. The way he moves you get a sense of why the Bombers moved up in the Global draft.

And then Rogers gets got by Myron Mitchell on the next rep. Gotta have a short memory in pro sports, they say.

Micah Vanterpool
having some very good 1-on-1 reps at both guard and tackle. Bombers GM Kyle Walters brought up the possibility of going American at guard this season. Gotta believe Vanterpool is who he was thinking about.

I think it was Streveler who we heard lamenting "we gotta do (300s) again on Sunday"

Streveler ran real well and got love for his "robo-knee"

Day 2
Going to run some WR/DB 1 on 1s into the wind now. Myron Mitchell looked real shifty and made a nice over the top grab on a corner route.

Streveler
with a nice throw on a post into the breeze. Laid it right on David Wallis

Chase Artopoeus throws a really nice football.

Speaking of nice footballs it's always fun to watch how accurate Zach Collaros is. It really stands out in a camp situation

To me Myron Mitchell stood out in that session. The year of experience last season certainly helps. Nice and smooth player.

And shoutout to DB Jordan Toles. Strong downhill interception on a comeback route.

3rd-round pick Ethan Vibert with a real nice 1 on 1 session at Center. Seemed to be giving exactly what the OL coach wanted.

Just a guess after 2 days of camp, but perhaps we should watch for Patrick Rogers as a guy to compete for the at field corner spot.

I really like how the media availability has ramped up again.  It was getting old only having maybe 1 new presser every 2 months!!

This year I want more OC/DC pressers and field-level/post-practice ones.  We barely heard anything from Younger last season.  Maybe he's shy.  This year we need both more him and more of the new (to OC) Hogan.

Today is the last time they get to show enough to be kept on the main TC roster. My count may be wrong but I think we have to cut 15 players by tomorrow. Moving Schoen and Lawson to " injured veteran " may reduce that to 13 but that's less clear.

There was something about Mosley getting injured on day 1 and taken off the field on a cart. I didn't hear anything further and wish him well. OTOH, regardless of the extent that puts him behind the 8 ball for the main TC. He may be released and brought back at a later date if they were high on high. Whether he's even going to be able play in 2025 is the 1st question.

Can we put Collaros "on suspension" as well for roster space?  Or veteran IR?

Is Paterson working his way off the roster?  Would he get a shot elsewhere?

Good to hear positive notes on Oline.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.
