Good to hear positive notes on Oline.

You can't practice while suspended and I believe he intends to be at the main TC. That's just another " flaw " in the process. If a player is appealing a suspension then he can practice. My impression is that he was subject to a 2 game suspension if he choose to appeal and he choose the 1 game without appeal.

The CFL loves their carrot and stick solutions as with the on-field coach's challenge, "you may be right, but you'll pay double if we don't agree with you".

Day 3
Bombers rookie camp day 3 is underway. THE PADS ARE ON!!

Guest appearance from Willie Jefferson today. He's in doing some solo prep work ahead of Sunday's opening of camp.

A nice breeze at camp today so they had kicker Andrew Mevis kicking from 58. Made it with plenty to spare.

Once again there's been a lot of love for Micah Vanterpool's work in 1-on-1 drills. OL coach Marty Costello effusive with his praise.

No Chase Artopoeus among the QBs today. Means Bisons QB Cole Anseeuw gets some extra action.
Should amend this. Artopoeus is working on a different part of the field and not throwing the receiver-DB 1-on-1s with the other QBs. My mistake.

Keilahn Harris makes fantastic leaping catch on sideline before Ethan Ball smacks him and forces him out of bounds. It's the DBs sideline so, of course, they ruled it incomplete

Tons of QB reps for Artopoeus in the final team period. All three days coaches have been giving him a real good look.

See, we've been so focused on Randolph, but DT keeps bringing up Vanterpool (Walters has mentioned him too).

Note the distinction though. There is not an existing starter at LG. It's an open spot.

Yup and a good example of how the Bombers do TC competitions.

You had said "This team doesn't really do TC competitions", which I disagreed with. Were you refering to TC comps for positions already mostly locked down or in general?

Patterson probably will get at least 1 more shot. He's like many in that mid-range tier. Like Crum, Powell, and a while back Franklin. Like maybe there's something there.

However, since he's never going to be a SY specialist, he has to start showing things soon or he will stop getting shots. If he's cheap, I'd keep him just for trade-bait. When the injuries hit other teams, try to get a 3RDP for him.

I was 100% referring to spots where there is already an existing player written in.

This started with talking about QBs. Streveler is the guy, there's not a competition for his spot. He's already got it.

The funny thing is, it really doesn't matter whether it's Vanterpool or Randolph! They are basically the same guy from a ratio and dev standpoint.

Maybe the bigger headline is the 2 favorites are both IMPs and Wallace isn't getting any love. All roads lead to 3 IMP OL... at least for now.

I just want to know who lines up first when TC opens. That will more than likely be the guy.
