His price tag has got to come down to be considered in our lineup, he got a ridiculous amount of money last year and was all but invisible. We already have Lawler, Schoen and Demski chewing up the bulk of our reciever salary, I don't think Lewis could fit in our budget.

An underappreciated QB, I predict he'll win the Als some games and eventually they'll question the faith they've put in Davis Alexander.

Why would a coach feel he has to say that to the media? Would he not be expected to "bring it" when he was hired? Of course he'll give max effort like every other head coach in the league. He'll circle the Calgary games on the calendar. We knew this already. Maybe some fans want to hear this but to me it's empty bravado, trash talk.  Honestly makes me wonder if this is the right hire. We'll see.
