It's a statement fueled by a franchise that promised him the big hat and not only welched on the at promised but stunk the joint out in the process. To me,the stamps quit on  Dickie this past season and I hope that misery continues this year and the elks will no doubt 'bring it' this year

Why would a coach feel he has to say that to the media? Would he not be expected to "bring it" when he was hired? Of course he'll give max effort like every other head coach in the league. He'll circle the Calgary games on the calendar. We knew this already. Maybe some fans want to hear this but to me it's empty bravado, trash talk.  Honestly makes me wonder if this is the right hire. We'll see.

He's paid his dues as has Buck.
Bobby Dyce has more lives than a cat.
Maccococho is a study in how to be a CFL professional.

Don't burn any bridges, be comoetant as an employee, and work hard. Pretty similar to other people. Who are god at their jobs.  That included the Bombers who also a study in how to do it.
Stamps made some pretty goofy choices from management, that have nit worked out.  Whereas Argos cut. All their stars, and they re surface a couple years. Later as the nest. Defense wins. championships.

The chances that CGY has a new HC next year feels like 95% now, 110% if they miss the playoffs.  If he had a good year in Edm, would he want to go home to CGY in a completely overhauled management group?

I guess that bridge isn't burned, as he's attacking the current regime, not the team or the city...

Obnoxious thing to say about a guy who was loyal for decades. 

I too would be happy to see Dave gone from the league.
