I wonder what the players prefer... I bet the mushy rubbery turf causes way less pain than hard earth.

I was on the field after the Calgary game today. IT feels almost spongy and should reduce injuries. Nowhere near the old hyperextend your knees carpet McMahon used to have.

Did McMahon get new turf recently too?

So CGY doing the on-field experience post-game also?!  That's great to hear.  Every single team should be doing that.  It makes a great excuse to bring the kids out.

I think we were the first CFL team to do that?

Yes it took place about 10-15 minutes after the last whistle they let us in the field. They let the crowds wander everywhere for about 20-24
Minutes. Some players signing autographs. Saw Reggie Beggleton of the stamps for  sure.

Tons of mini footballs. LOTS OF KIDS! Was family night + food bank night.

Believe it is happening for some future stamps games for sure. Should have been done decades ago! Not sure when they started it. I think I have not gone to a stamps game live probably since before Covid due to various reasons. Maybe in 2021. Know for sure I went to the GC HERE IN 2019 when the bombers broke the "curse/drought"!

The turf looked quite fresh. When they installed it I have no clue. Would have to do an internet search.

Must have been nice to get back to the field, eh?  Losing those years really sucked.  You can't beat an evening at the stadium, any stadium.  Sure is nice to have it all back to normal, and lovin' my nights with the kid(s) @PAS.  Even when we lose.  Cheers Mr. Crane!

Sleepy hollow thanks you too! 😎

Was at a bombers game last year when I visited family and friends in Winnipeg area. Was Vs Argos in October or very late September.

Ottawa and Hamilton look to have both improved. Dru Brown sure throws a nice ball. Even Bo throwing well. I sure hope Zach can find his mojo soon. We need the Greek mafia at it's best!
Go Bombers!

Leggs having a decent year, a select few on here were too hard on him imo

He just needed a few years to develop and refine his technique. Not sure his punting will ever equal some of these Aussies though as he is too short. You need a long leg usually to hoof punts far, but there is some exceptions to that rule.

Great game.  Brown had his ups and down but looks good.  So does Bo.

Happy for Dru. Nice to see him doing well. I'm looking forward to playing them again.
Go Bombers!

I am reasonably happy with our DBs but would either of these be an upgrade?

The Argonauts have also released American defensive backs Darius Joiner and Marquis Waters, the latter of whom started one game earlier this season.

Funny any regular season victory in Ottawa is celebrated like they won the Stanley Cup!

Careful now....they've won more football games than we have at this season

Late watching the HAM/OTT game.  3Q9:31 Scott challenges "illegal interference" on a big Acklin catch.  3 guys are duking it out 40Y away from the play.  Literally has nothing to do with the play, dude couldn't have made it to the QB, nor the target.

1) I didn't know "illegal interference" was challengeable.  Sounds a bit like the non-called IC challenge they got away with ages ago because everyone went fishing on stuff miles away.  When was II made challengeable?

2) I can't recall anyone ever challenging this before?  Can anyone think of one?

3) Why don't more coaches challenge this?  Slam dunk to take away a huge play.  All it takes is players doing the wrasslin' thing and going overboard.  That happens quite a bit.  I hope we're looking out for similar things when we take explosions!

Hand it to Milanovitch on this one!  Brilliant HCing!
