#Redblacks all-star defensive lineman Lorenzo Mauldin goes down in the final minutes of practice today. Looks like he will be carted off. #CFL

Lemon may be getting a call...

Lemon left a bad taste in management's mouth when he left here. Walters was one of those guys. Not sure KW views him as FIFO.
Some people take this forum way too seriously.

Some times when it rains it just pores.  Seems like Ottawa has a black cloud hovering over them in regards to injuries.  Just like Joe Piskflisk in Lil Abner.

Bad taste?  He was a PR cut after like, 3 days? With zero CFL experience previous... pretty hard to "leave a bad taste in your mouth"...

So, someone explain why Lemon is not signed somewhere?

Is he holding out for more money?

Or is he just mad at the CFL for getting cut in favour of Kongbo who was then traded?

TSN mentioned tonight 5 teams are currently pursuing him, including the Bombers.  Wonder which team is desperate to pay him the most, I'd be surprised if he chose a non-contender.

Lol you answered my question before I had a chance to ask it.

KW doesn't do bid wars.  He's said before he gives his offer and that's it.

I was interested in Lemon when no one else was; now that the world wants him, let them overpay.  He's ancient and not great anymore anyhow.

Several teams may have interest but it may be at different levels. If he signs somewhere he may look at location and probability of playing time and team success etc. He will pick a top level team.

Lions already excluded themselves and have no need at the moment, I don't think the Argos need him. Winnipeg, Riders, Stamps and maybe the Als might be in the mix.

I don't see a bidding war happening.

Massive loss for Ottawa as the guy was a force to be reckoned with for them. As for Lemon, I dunno, I?ve never liked the guy, maybe teams feel, the same way, not worth the hassle. There?s a reason he?s bounced around the league an absolute ton.

I think Lemon is just done by his own admission.
