Sounds like Alford could make the 53 man roster.

Sounds like Drew will be offered a PR spot in New England.

Did you hear something or just speculating he'll get a PR spot?  Everything we've heard before suggests he wouldn't make the roster or PR.

A PR spot would be a significant carrot he probably accepts. OTOH he could return to the CFL on a new deal that lets him try to land an NFL TC in 2023.

Interesting to see how it shakes out. I found 3 NE roster projections from the last few days, and 2 say he will be cut. One says he's competing with 4 other O-lineman for practice roster.

Drew would be an awesome addition to our O-Line....then if we get Couture back we'd be in great shape for the end of the season and the playoffs.

I don't think reporters/bloggers have any idea how PR OL is going to shake out.
My wife is amazing!

Doesn't sound like Kongbo is making Denver's 53 man roster. Sounds like they can carry 16 on the PR, including 6 vets.

I think Kongbo is the most realistic NFL cut to return to the Bombers, would love to see him back, especially for the ratio flexibility he would bring.

NFL insiders talked about Drew having a good shot at a PR spot with New England as long as he did get picked up on waivers.

Kongbo looked good last night. They had him dropping back in coverage on a few plays. However Denver is loaded on the DL.

Yah, I don't follow the NFL or read their news, so I have no idea if he has a chance or not.

I guess we'll see which if any of the ex Bombers get released and whether they choose an immediate return to the CFL. That's not guaranteed and neither is a direct return to the Bombers.

Obviously we'd welcome back Desjarlais and Kongo in particular as very good Canadian players.

He's actually an outside linebacker in Denver, since they play a 3-4.

Not that it really matters, but on Denver's website they have him list as (DE). He also lined up as a DE when he was on the field.
