He fought the puck on some shots last night , leading to a greasy goal by the Habs. It's understandable, he's been out for a while. BIG drop off though between Helly and Comrie and Mason.

Agreed. Jets needed to be better in their own end last night, which is something we saw them struggle with against the Senators the night previous. I guess that's to be expected with the roster changes and I imagine it's easy to lose focus in these meaningless games to close out the season.

Mason's sharpness seemed to dwindle as the game wore on, too.

would really like to see Roslovic, Sami Niko & Mason play vs the Flames.    Let all the regulars play Saturday for Fan Appreciation night.

Pretty sure Maurice said all the starters will be playing the last 2 to get ready for the playoffs.

I think The Forks makes the most sense. If we ever made it to the SC Finals, though, I don't think anyone would be upset if we closed down P&M outright!

Another suggestion I have that's a little rogue- what about showing on a big screen at Shaw Park? People can be allowed on the field, or can choose to sit in the stands. Concessions there are great, too. Actually, if the Goldeyes took up that initiative in addition to a Forks party, that could be a huge revenue generator if they sold tickets for a few bucks a pop.

Has anyone mentioned The Cube? I think the Jets showed the opener against the Leafs on a big screen set up there. Not sure how it went or if the area is big enough.
I rather go to the Forks than have them shut a street down.
The big screen at Shaw Park seemed a little pixelated the last time I was there. Not sure I'd what to see a hockey game on it, but a smaller temporary screen set up at a random location probably won't be much better.

I feel the cube would be too small for the amount of fans that would probably show up to watch.  A season opener is one thing but the finals would be out of control.

This is what I was getting at. I watched Game 5 of the Leafs vs Bruins in the ACC square in 2013, and they had a massive, massive screen servicing thousands that worked out perfectly. A dinky projector and screen won't suffice, I agree, lol

Preds have the tiebreaker, right?

Nashville won season series 3-2

Are we sure about this? On the league's standings page at the bottom it lists head-to-head record as the third tie breaker after 1) Fewer number of games played and 2) Greater number of games won excluding shootout wins. It does mention if teams are "tied in points during the regular season" so that's why I'm confused. https://www.nhl.com/standings/2017/wildcard

If those apply once all is said and done, then we'd need to win both of our remaining games and have Nashville get only one point from their remaining two because we currently have 46 regulation or overtime wins to their 45.

Man, the playoffs can't get here fast enough...

I'm not sure.  That's why I asked.
I was referring to the head-to-head being the deciding tie breaker, not your initial question.

This is what I expect opening night of our playoffs to look like. I think we have to swap in/out Roslovic and Tanev though based on our opponent and how they/we are playing them.

He?s supposed to be available. Whether he plays is another question.

I always forget about that guy. I guess it's because of all the injuries.
