???

40 of the Jets' victories go to Hellebuyck. His record is 40-11-9 so far this season.

Wow, I read that wrong. Was concentrating on something else at the time.

Very happy to hear the news of Morrissey avoiding any consequences.

HellB should be a contender for the Vezina ....... his numbers are terrific.

Contender, definitely. It?ll be hard to beat out Rinne, though

Rinne?s name is already carved onto the trophy.

Helle is definitely top 3 in the league this year though!

I dont agree with this.  Hellebyuck has a shot at the Vezina.  I also consider MA Fleury a strong candidate as well.  I am not sure how much of an impact Fleurys injury would play, but Fleury has a better GAA and save percentage than Rinne.

Pekka definitely has the vez wrapped up.  Fleury is having a great season but IMO missed too much time this year.  Hellebyuck I would say is the runner up, awesome season but just not quite the numbers that Pekka has been putting up.

I dont agree with this.

Me, neither.

Rinne: 2.25 GAA, .929 SV%
Hellebuyck: 2.38 GAA, .923 SV%

Rinne has marginally better numbers and has played behind arguably the best blue line all season. And let's call a spade a spade here: Rinne has been a top tier netminder for years. Did anyone expect this from Hellebuyck going into the season?

Hellebuyck has a chance at winning the Vezina as well as anyone else. I'd also put Vasilevskiy and Andersen in the discussion.

#NHLJets HC Paul Maurice says there will be no changes to his skaters tonight. D Jacob Trouba is banging on his door to play and hasn't been ruled out for Saturday's game vs #Leafs and G Steve Mason could be an option to play in a game next week. Best guess is Tue vs #Habs

Comrie confirmed for tonight.

Helle should be ready for a statement against the Laughs

Helle has had a great season, no question, but I don?t think he gets bonus points because it was unexpected. And while he?s second and third in a lot of categories, Rinne is first in most of them.

Again, of course Helle and a couple of others deserve to be mentioned, but at this point in the season, Rinne has it wrapped up.

The Zipp

One of the worst periods of hockey the jets have played recently...They don?t look too interested or intense

TrueBlue75

Awful first period for the Jets. Just skating around and making it easy for the hawks. Maybe they got a bit complacent from playing at home against top teams? Hopefully they show up in the second period. This one?s boring.

The Zipp

Ouch.  Comrie is not looking NHL ready tonight.
