Less than three weeks after trading for him, the Indianapolis Colts plan to start Jacoby Brissett at quarterback, according to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Sources: The #Colts are planning on starting QB Jacoby Brissett on Sunday vs. #AZCardinals. Former starter Scott Tolzien goes to the bench.

- Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) September 15, 2017

The Colts acquired Brissett from the New England Patriots for receiver Phillip Dorsett earlier this month. Brissett played behind Scott Tolzien in Indy's Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but still saw some action, finishing 2/3 for 51 yards. Tolzien was 9/18 for 128 yards and two interceptions in the loss.

The Colts are hoping to have star quarterback Andrew Luck back sooner than later, but reports suggest he could still be at least a couple weeks away.

Brissett showed some promise in limited action for the Patriots last year, finishing 34/55 for 400 yards.

Did you watch it? Couldn't bring myself to sit through that one. Both of those teams are awful this year.

I watched it because I'm a Bengals fan and I rarely get to see their games on TV. However, what a terribly played game. Watching Watson make his first start was more entertaining than seeing my team play. This is most unwatchable they've been since before they drafted Carson Palmer.
My wife is amazing!

The game sucked but Watson was worth it. Dalton looks useless.
I LOSHT MY MEMBER IN AN UNFORTUNATE SHMELTING ACCSHIDENT!

Bengals OC Ken Zampese got fired yesterday.  Only choice Marvin Lewis had in order to save his job.  If Lazor can`t turn their offense around quickly, Lewis will be gone sooner rather than later.

Jerry Jones all upset about Ezekial. Of course he's making it tough for Roger. Somebody probably leaked the story to force Jerry Jones to get the deal done.

how about Zeke quitting on his team yesterday...if you haven't seem the clip it is easy enough to find...

Where he just stood there after the interception with his hands on his hips? Hilarious. Dallas looks like a different team if they can't run the ball for 5 yards on first down.

That's the one....huge no-no at any level of sports, you gotta make an effort...

Attorney: Tests show Aaron Hernandez had CTE

Aaron Hernandez, the former NFL star who took his life while serving a murder sentence in prison, had chronic traumatic encephalopathy -- commonly known as CTE -- attorney Jose Baez said Thursday. Baez cited study results compiled by the Boston University CTE Center, which examined Hernandez's brain for the neurodegenerative brain disease.

Darren Sproles tore his ACL and broke his arm on the same play. Did anyone else see that? What kinda luck is that. Probably it for him and he's considered retiring in the past and he's well into his 30s.

Saw that it happened but not the play itself. Brutal

Sproles has added so much excitement to the NFL during his playing time...this could be it for him, tough road rehabbing two major injuries.

One of the worst hits to the head you will see just happened in the packers / bears games.  Poor Davonte Adams was just knocked cold.  Brutal.
