Certainly am disappointed to hear that the Oilers may wish to hire Babcock. 
Does Paul Coffey have any interest in the HC role ?

Bigger news will be when Connor McDavid requests a trade next year if things don't get turned around. You can't expect him to waste away while they figure things out over 5 years, he'll pull a Mitch Marner and not re-sign and go to a contender.
