Full no trade clause, so I guess that takes us out of the conversation. 

Unless its a three way, someone has a 1C that Larkin is a big upgrade for, but they can't fit Larkin and their present 1C under their cap, and they trade us their 1C for us to use as a 2C.  And both teams send something that Detroit wants back.

It could be a Win/Win/Win really.

Again, depends on where Larkin wants to go.  4 years left at $8.7 cap, NTC next year, 10 team list the rest of the deal.

There's no way McDavid and Leon will go with a Babcock hiring, never. It is well documented how much of a ***** Babcock was to his players, in today's NHL, coaches have got to get along with their players, and that aint Babcock. There's other coaches that are available for that job and I'd bet the farm Babcock ain't even in the conversation

So, Babcock signed with the Blue Jackets, then resigned before he coached a game after demanding players let him see personal photos off their phones? 

And now Edmonton is interested in him?

This is a joke, right?  With all the coaching talent out there, Edm has to be able to do better than a recycled and disgraced coach.

He is a winning coach overall, but can he control a room with superstars in it?

With the baggage he's bringing, I'm not sure you can overlook it
