A few others:

Woli was moved to 1 game IR not 6 game. I'm not sure if that means he can practice and might be available for GC if we win?

Randolph was moved to PR after being moved to 1 game IR last week. I thought they did that to retain him.

Adams was also moved to PR

It's possible PR players can be re-signed later but the fact the team put them on the PR instead of 1 game IR is interesting: Woods, Cole and Adams

OTOH we move Mitchell to 1 game IR and leave Smith on the PR??

I'm under the impression that everybody on the IR is now SMS exempt. Operational cost but not SMS cost. So why move players off IR unless it's curtains for them when the season is done next week?

Good point on releasing recent draft choices.

Regardless, I hope we don't see Woli again. He is another example of a guy who's already been forced back too soon and was immediately injured again. No interest in seeing that happen in the Grey Cup.

You can't add a player to 6 game IR now but he was already on the 6 game IR. Streveler was just extended on 6 game IR while Woli was moved to 1 game IR from 6 game IR.

You can't really say he might be forced back too soon. He hasn't played since 09/07 and has missed 8 games + the WDF. His injury was hip related so can't really determine whether that was season ending or what.

The Bombers will need to up their game a few notches from their last two (which were quasi-playoff games) if they want to win. I think they have it in them. We shall see.

I agree - Unfortunately I will not be able to watch the game here in Calgary but taping the game (both games). At the airport now just waiting for my flight to Houston then off to South America for work. Back in time for the Grey Cup.

I will try and catch the score on my layover in Houston. Hope for the best but to win this one will take an effort that I am not sure the Bomber have in them. I just think we are short on talent in too many critical areas- but just my humble opinion.
