I expect Muhammad to steal that HB spot in no time.

In 16 games with Calgary, he had 50 DTs and 5 ST and 1 FF. This is a good pickup.

Not so sure. Maybe if there's an emergency. Half back is the hardest and most complex spots in the secondary. No training camp. No CFL experience. You never know but it will likely take some time.

No Bombers training camp. Yes.
No CFL experience. Dead wrong.
He played with Stamps last year and played the same spot. By all accounts he is a surprise cut after their recent training camp.

One thing I've learned about The Mafia, is they are superb at identifying potential stars on opposing teams, writing their name down, quietly waiting, and snatching them up when other teams (mistakenly) release them.  As such, I'd bet this guy is a baller.  I'm happy we have a bit of uninjured depth again.  He might vie with Lawrence for a starting spot, but Lawrence has the seniority edge.  I doubt he'd replace Parker or Rose anytime soon, especially if you guys said he's a HB.  If Holm keeps up his performance, it's Holm's job for now.
Never go full Rider!

Rose and Jeffcoat.  bye-bye.

It will probably get to that point at some point, but IMO that time is not yet. As the season goes it may even be this season, but depth is important and both those guys when healthy can help us.

IF Jeffcoat hits the 6 game, then his partial salary goes off the books, and then hopefully he can play a partial healthy season- at this point It doesn't appear he can play an 18-game season, so let's see if he can still be a good return on investment as a 12 or even 6 game player at this point in his career.

The concern I have is if he misses one or two, comes back in plays a part game goes back out for one etc. his full salary goes on the books, and his return on investment then becomes in the red. I think either he is healthy enough to play now or he goes on the 6 game to help us down the stretch, and at least we get some salary cap relief.

Hammy released Boateng

Not sure if he is 100% healed, but he could be worth a look-see physically as if he is good to go, he could help with rotation.

Yeah wonder if hurt or slowed down.  Another poster mentioned him as well.  Also wonder about the cost?

Used to be good, but hasn't played in a game since 2021 so who knows now.  I'm sure Hamilton tried to trade him before cutting, so not a lot of interest around the league, which could lower his price.  He's worth a look IMO, cause a Natl. pass-rusher is exactly what they need.

He's worth a phone call to his agent. If he passes a physical we'll make a judgment. As a free agent his current contract is ZERO and he won't get 8 other calls.

If Szott was moved to PR, which of Lawson or Miller were moved to AR? I'd like to think both will be available for this week.

I think they should sign the security guy who tackled Adam Hadwin at the Canadian Open.

He probably gets a better salary from the PGA. ;)

Oh I don't want former Grey Cup winners to leave.  I mean they were part of a special group.
However, you say give them time!  They have had over almost a year to re-hab and these nagging injuries have become chronic.  These guys must have G.P.s family doctors prescribing "ice and rest"  It's been a long time for non- operated parts to recover.

Hope they come around.  Also good point about having them around for septh when they do.

BLUEBOMBER

Looks like an upgrade from what we had.. but other teams cuts.. not sure about this..
