The good, the bad, and the ugly.

What an absolute ****-show of a game. All of the weaknesses were highlighted in that one and they were way too much to overcome.

The Good:

- Brady 100 yard game. Showed he can still do it if he gets the ball.
- Major Williams continues to be a find at DB
- Naur Gatkuoth made a crazy good 2 plays in a row to get us the ball back on one drive (would have been huge if      we had taken advantage and made a comeback).
- The DL continues to show push and came away with 4 sacks - so props to Willie and Ceresna.

The Bad:

- Offensive play calling. I think Brady lines up as the wide-side receiver more than get gets carries. It takes a player off for us and gives the D an extra defender imo
- Constantly throwing into coverage result in 4 INTs instead of the 4 almost INTs last week - QB being too aggresive or Condell not scheming guys open?
- Brady's 45 yard TD run was his last carry of the game. And his wide side routes take him out of the passing game.

The Ugly:

- Lots, but the injury to Broxton and missed tackles really stick out to me.

Good:

Heads up play by Pokey Wilson to intercept the intercept.

Ugly:

Shanks by Sheahan and Sergio.
Botched snap by Perkins.

Stanley Bryant. I'll say it. He is now our worst OL. A holding machine at best. knocked flat on his back at worst. Zero mobility now.

QuoteIts sad watching whats happened to Bryant. Someone needed to pull him aside and tell him his time was up this offseason. But that's not O'Shea's way. He will play players like Bryant and Nichols (who's done also) well past their best before date, to the detriment of the team.

Oh man, forgot about that one. We scored a TD on that drive too!

I would add Jones and Griffin to the good, as they continue make plays.

Injuries: Also add to the list Hallett, and Daniels.

On the Ugly: DBs so many missed tackles.

He's not even that.  He wasn't even getting hands on people most of the game.  Our coaches on both sides of the ball think that arms and hands are useless appendages in this game.  Might be true for the receivers

Good:
Brady, 100+ and 2 TDs
Major Williams, continues to make plays
Ceresna and Willy played well

Skipping bad heading straight to ugly, in order:

CFL officiating, head ref and umpire were atrocious yesterday (re: lack of holding calls on Calgary, Willy has held over a dozen times, called once)
OC Condell, Brady as a 6th receiver?
DC Younger, tired of lack of imagination, let's just rush 4 all game long
Coach O'Shea, other than the Toronto game this team hasn't been ready to play.  Tired of hearing "stick to the process", it's only worked twice in 12 years
Holm, Nichols, Moxey, Kelly, DBs (less Williams), entire Oline, Dru.

The really bad
This was one of the worst executed games Ive see the bombers play
Kicking game an awful Fg attempt, a blocked punt that was shanked
Penalties. Whenever you extend drives or take away good plays it bites you in the a**
Missed tackles in the secondary, Holms Nichols and Moxey especially
Qb throwing passes he had no chance of completing, Condell and Brown need to understand what checkdown means
Kick coverage Mcallister made our teams play look less than ordinary
Secondary breakdowns, really shows you how much we missed Kramdi- some one else has to show leadership

I think Zach convinced Stan to come back for one more spin against his better judgement, Walters could have let him go to FA if he still wanted to play but he re-signed him under the theory that he was once the very best.

Dru Brown + Tommy Condell = "Memories of Ottawa" bad offence.

I didn't see those two other injuries. We can replace Hallett on ST's if we need to. What we do to replace Daniels and possibly Broxton if necessary IDK. Lions DL will create pressure and can we keep Brown upright?
One game at a time

bwiser

Good-more good returns
-the defense front seven played pretty good
    -Mills was mostly ineffective
    -Olivera running well
Bad- secondary with the exception of Williams
   -bad penalties
   -turnovers
   -terrible start again
   outplayed on special teams
Ugly-Bombers still have not won a home game including preseason

CrazyCanuck89

Good: Olivera, Gatkewth, the Dline as a whole.

Bad: Coverage breakdowns.

Ugly: 4 ints, Oline looking mediocre.

Pokey continues to amaze with his non-stop effort on plays headed in the wrong direction, he added 2 more last night and now has 4 tackles on the season.  Not sure what category his "interception" would be counted as.

That's because your not at the games. 30 rows up right behind the Bomber bench you get a lot of looks at the injury table.  Hallett went into the tent early in the game. Daniels got rounded up on one blocking play and limping for awhile. However he did finish the game.
