Linebacker Kyrie Wilson has his helmet on working with the 1st-team defense today. He's been listed as DNP the last two practices with a hip problem

Nic Demski and Rasheed Bailey also in full gear today. Brendan O'Leary-Orange continues in Dalton Schoen's spot.

Dumb question, I know Schoen is injured, but when did he get hurt? That is, which game of the season? Was it late in the season in colder weather, and did he slip on some slippery turf?

IIRC, he got dinged up (ankle) in the comeback OT win vs. BC.

High ankle sprain, 6-8 week recovery, so we are right at the 6 week mark now.

Today's IR report lists: Wilson, Bailey, Demski and Jeffcoat as " questionable". Schoen and Bighill listed as " doubtful". I expect the 1st 4 to play but wonder who gets added to replace Bighill on the roster.

If any of the other 4 can't play, it's going to be a long game.

I m really not worried at linebacker, if Jeffcoat is out, then that?s a whole different story. We need both J s firing on all cylinders this game

Keyword with Cody is trying.  There should be a prop bet on Cody completing a 30+ yarder (YAC excluded).  I'll take the negative on that bet.

Cody and Kelly have something in common ... they both think they are WAY better than they actually are. I can see the Bomber D doing to the Als exactly what the Montreal D did to the Argos. Demario going to have a huge game methinks.

I don't think Fajardo can handle the pressure/bright lights of the big stage. If they go to the passing game, I think he stinks the joint out. If I am the Als, I run the ball and try to eat the clock up. They can't win a shoot out, they need to focus on TOP and limit our opportunities. I think they'll go the balanced route and that will be their downfall, as Cody sucks as a passer.

This in general premise I can agree with. Make Cody feel uncomfortable and we win. Simple as that.

Interesting story about Winnipeg nearly signing Stubblefield after he was released by the Als in TC.

Stubblefield is a gamer, much under-rated, but the Als added him in the secondary, Sankey at MLB and Lemon at DE and THAT single handedly turned this team around. Their defense is wicked, with Dequoy at safety as well.

I expect the Bomber to give the Als D a heaping helping of Brady running the ball. With Schoen out, and Bailey and Demski limping around, our passing attack has taken a big hit. We still have a decent recieving corps, but one not as productive or threatening as when we were healthy. Brady's good to go, give him the rock and let the big boys do some road grading!!!!
